I got these at the suggestion of my exterminator. My garage always had mosquitos and yard treatment didn't keep them out of the garage, but hanging one of the "eggs" filled with this solution keeps the mosquitos away

I have type O negative blood, which attracts mosquitoes more than any other. I have never been able to sit on the porch/patio at dawn or dusk, which is the only time that it's tolerable in the Texas summer. I bought a Skeeter Patio Egg at a roadside convenience store, and put it on the patio. No bites for a month. I was not going to drive 100 miles to get a refill, so I was thrilled to see Amazon had it at a great price. Recently I dropped in at the same roadside store and bought Skeeter eggs for my neighbor and my son's family and I made sure to tell them to get the refill oil at Amazon. BTW... it has a very pleasant, light smell. Not a heavy citronella odor.

We bought two for our deck, and I recently got some refill oil. It does seem to work fairly well, though it certainly doesn't eliminate mosquitos. This year they're really bad, so it may be nothing will work well, However, when I initially fill it up, it seems to reduce their number (and gnats) by quite a bit, especially if you're sitting directly next to it. And it has a very pleasant scent, which is nice. I really like that it's environmentally friendly and safe for Hummingbirds, bees and other garden-friendly insects, unlike many other products. I'll keep using it, but am looking for a second eco-friendly alternative to add to the mix to try and really get rid of them all.

This bottle is a refill for the Skeeter Screen Patio Egg. I've used this product for years because I do not have to light it and it does not have a strong odor like other oils. I cannot PROVE my theory, but it keeps wasps from building near it. No hives on our patio and front porch! I do not hang it, but just set it out in a potted plant or on the table.

I've used this for several years on our front porch, which is a mosquito haven. It works well to keep them at bay.

I have used this product for two years and found it to be very helpful.

I use two on my lanai but it's expensive and doesn't last long.
