Ultra Bright USB Rechargeable LED Dog Safety Collar

The brightness of the LED is superb. I opted for the red light as our dog is a black labrador and boy does she now stand out on these dark nights as if we walked where the lighting was poor or non-existant she was virtually impossible to see.The collar is very easy to cut to size and takes literally moments to fit. The tubing and the light is extremely light yet very sturdy and for a medium to large dog probably weighs less than a leather collar, which I believe to be a big plus point as the collar doesn't appear to irritate or disturb our dog at all.I would assume that after trimming the collar it would still be light enough for the smallest of pooches. Three settings too, constant, slow flash and rapid flash. Dog lovers all want the best for their beloved 4 legged family members and if you are purchasing an item for them to wear their comfort is paramount and this collar is so in-obtrusive that our dog didn't pay it any attention after a few moments. It also makes the dog walker visible to other pedestrians and road users as apposed to a small dangling light from a collar. I would without any reservation recommend this LED collar to any dog, or cat owner - it really could be a life saver ......FANTASTIC product

As soon as the nights drew in I knew I needed to get our pupster an illuminated collar. I’ve seen a few other people on my usual dog-walking route with something similar and they looked effective. A little bit of review reading led me to this PetSol product.The collar come with two main components. The power unit, which is pretty slim and features a single button that repeated presses of will give different speeds of flashing or constant light, and there’s also a USB charging point. If I’m critical it’s that it’s a Mini USB port, not the Micro USB port that you get on the majority of devices these days, so you’ll need to keep the charging cable handy and not rely on using the same cable you charge your phone up with. The second component is the collar itself. This a clear, solid tube that has no electrical component inside, so you simply cut it to the desired length for your dog’s neck, and push it into the power unit. When turned on the entire tube illuminates with a constant and strong light. It’s much better than ones I’ve seen with just intermittently placed LED lights.The illuminated collar has so far been excellent in operation. It’s clear and bright and your dog really stands out even at long distances. Our dog hasn’t been at all bothered by the flashing lights, and she appears comfortable wearing it. When you cut the collar to size you’re advised to leave it with enough slack to slide it over the dogs head without force, as that’s easier than pulling the collar out of the power unit every time. Even doing this it fits securely. It’s never fallen off of our dog so I’m confident in the product.Highly recommended.

I brought two of these as I have two dogs, a blue one for my GreyhoundxSaluki and a red one for my little black and tan Dachshund.For my greyhound, this has been amazing at keeping him safe at night. He's a old boy now and is almost always off lead so he does drag behind sometimes on walks and this gives me piece of mind that I'm not going to lose him. He has white/cream fur, so can be seen without the collar, but it's nice to have that extra bit of security.As for the dachshund, it's probably a her issue. She is 9 months old and still pulls on the lead (we're working on it, she's getting there!) I don't attach the lead to these light up collars, obviously but just from her pulling, she managed to cause enough pressure on the light up collar from the lead pressing up against it for it to come out of the power pack part and fall off her neck on a very rainy evening, and unfortunately these are not the best for water resistance. It now does turn on after drying out a bit but it doesn't last for very long anymore even after being fully charged, about 15 minutes if I'm lucky and the greyhound's one is still as strong as ever and I've not once charged his yet, so I think maybe my dachshund has damaged the power pack somehow.I'll be buying her another one and cutting it a little bit more tighter to her neck so it can't get caught on things so overall, I think the product is really good and does what it's needed for, just be careful if you have a young dog who still gets excited by everything.

We previously had a couple of 'proper' light up collars, which I was really happy with, but twice I've had to throw them away when my little darling rubbed his face in something gross making his collar too stinky to deal with. Not great financially or responsibly. Saw this which is just like a glow stick, so if he ever dares to rub his face in anything again, I can just wipe it off.You cut the collar to size - I've got it so it just pops over his head and comes back off again quite easily - so really quick when he's anxious to get out, though you could make it a bit tighter and undo and redo it each time. Perhaps a slight drawback of it being a bit looser is that he lost it once when he stuck his head under a bush and it dislodged his collar and we were round the corner before I noticed. Thankfully it's so bright we could see instantly where it was on retracing our steps! Also, the collar part had opened at the charging part, so no danger of choking.The collar is really bright with a choice of 3 settings, which we have on steady, and it's very easy to see my black dog when he's wearing his 'necklace'. Reasonably priced and the charge lasts ages, so all in all a very good purchase. Happy to recommend.

The media could not be loaded. I bought the red, ultra bright. Didn’t cut it to size, just put it over my GSD. It’s great to use in the mornings and afternoons during winter. For safety, with runners about not seeing him on the pavements. I use the steady light as the flashing ones are annoying to view. It glows all round, is easy to use and charge. Looks nice and is functional. My dog doesn’t mind it on, I just pop it over before his collar and he’s happy to wear it on walks. Light weight, smooth, adds good viability.
