Worked perfectly! But let me say, changing this mirror out is a bear! Watch a youtube video first! You have to pull the door panel off and then squeeze your hand inside a pretty small hole. The product itself is fantastic, and if you own a white or black car, no painting is required!

I’m pleased with my purchase. I broke parts of my original mirror and found this one in white. I was able to pull the grey cover off of my original and swap it out perfectly for the white color. The blind spot indicators and turn signal lights worked perfectly. The only issue I had during installation was the length of the wire. It was about 2 inches short. We were able to thread it through an unused hole in the door to fix it, but if that wasn’t the case it would have been pulling very tight against the metal. The other option we were considering was cutting a hole into the metal door. Just something to think about during installation. Sorry I didn’t remember to take a picture. But overall very happy as it saved me a lot of money and it looks just like OEM. Great quality.

It's an okay mirror for your car - it fits well and looks good. Check Your Mirror for any defects! The mirror I received was defective—specifically, the connection between the glass and the mechanical part was broken. It barely responded to adjustments and shook excessively. I could move the inner mirror in and out with just my fingertip—not safe at all! Unfortunately, we only noticed the issue after installing it, which led to additional costs for reinstallation. Make sure to inspect yours before installing to avoid extra hassle and expenses. The mirror/glass quality is 4- out of 5.

There is a lot of technology packed into this mirror, so I was amazed that I could get a replacement. It's been well over a year, and all the features are still working perfectly. The cover piece on the back is designed to be painted, but if the vehicle is black it's not really that noticeable unless you're looking for it. Make sure the window is down beforehand for access to all three fasteners that attach the mirror.

My passenger side mirror was damaged. The mirror casing was fine as was the mirror itself, but it couldn't be adjusted anymore and needed to be taped into place. I went to a Mazda dealership for other services (oil change, tire rotation) and asked for a quote. For parts and labor they quoted $975.00.... that's right, $975.00!!! I immediately looked for an alternative solution. With this part and the help of my brother's trusted mechanic, I had the mirror replaced for under $200.00. My only wish was that the mechanic could have used the 'guts' of this part with the original mirror casing because my car (and the driver side mirror) is blue, not black. But he told me it's put together as one part and there's not an easy way to separate the components. At any rate, I have a new passenger side mirror that functions *perfectly* and looks very, very similar to the original Mazda part. I just have one black mirror and one blue mirror at present. I may end up getting the passenger side mirror painted to match the original.

Bought mirror for a Mazda CX5. Only mirror angle adjustment control works. Blind spot, back up warning, lane change, mirror folding in when vehicle locked - features all are missing from this mirror wiring. Not factory compatible for sensor functionality.

Mazda dealership quoted me $700 for a new mirror. This one is exactly as pictured for a fraction of the price. Installed by my mechanic for $60 and functions just as it should. Blind spot detector and blinker features both work perfectly. Great sturdy product for an amazing price.
