Lifespan of the strings.
Bought these in August. My son (7 yo) has been playing for 12 weeks. One string is already worn out. Not sure if its the quality of the string or my son did something. I am buying another packet of them so we will see. Not sure how many stars to give. The price is good, they deliver tomorrow, they fit...just not sure why one wore out so quickly.

Oops Violin not for me WHOA!
Well broke three right off the bat. even though they feel great and was easy to open at a great price while and the sound quality was all there and very easy to use. We all know how hard putting violin strings on is to begin with. Probably wouldn't have broken if not my first time with violin. Stringing, playing and even holding one. Not my cup of tea! Glad this is step Grandson's violin and I just changed strings and tried to tune. Believe oh what fun....NOT. Push tuning knob as tuning then hoping it will stay. Threading through that little work area. Stringing up the right way. Holding bridge, holding string tight. And on and on. Whoa not me. I'll stick with guitars and tuners that stay out and wide open work area. And not as many strings brake while restringing and tuning as I just went through with this here fiddle. Violin as they all say is the hardest instrument to learn and play well changing strings is part of that love hate thing that coming with wanting to play one of these babies.

Met the needs of my daughter for orchestra class, she plays the violin. No complaints as of now!

Good for the price point. Are there better strings, sure, but for general practice and learning, this work.

MODIFICATION COMMENTAIRE J’avais acheté ces cordes pour remplacer la corde MI d’une élève, qui avait cassée lors du réaccordage. Après avoir tester les deux jeux de cordes sur deux instruments différents, je trouve finalement les cordes vraiment très sympas ! Au premier abord, je trouvais que le son était un peu trop métallique. Finalement, après avoir testé TOUTES les cordes et pas seulement la corde MI, je trouve que le son est vraiment sympa (et pas si métallique) pour un prix défiant toute concurrence ! Les cordes sont agréables à jouer avec une tension qui me semble light. Idéal pour des personnes qui débutent. Cela permet aux doigts de s’adapter à appuyer sur une corde sans se blesser parce que la tension de la corde est trop forte. Le son, quant à lui, est plutôt très sympa : bien projeté, assez clair, net … Je dirais que le seul petit bémol, c’est la corde SOL. Je trouve que son son n’est vraiment pas terrible et la corde est difficile à jouer. Il faut exercer une pression plus forte pour obtenir quelque chose … Je ne sais pas vraiment comment décrire le son qui en ressort, mais je vous assure que c’est vraiment moche. Quoiqu’il en soit, pour le prix ..! Deux jeux de cordes pour 10.99€ ?!! C’est donné ! En résumé : je recommande ! Certaines cordes moyennes gammes sont moins bonnes que celles-ci ! Pour les petits budgets, ne cherchez pas plus compliqué.
