Gloves do not have enough padding in it for kids might as well just bare knuckle not what I expected

I bought these gloves to teach my brother boxing. They are not heavy padding but they work. They weren’t cheap I maybe returning them they fit just not good for protection.

The head gear in this pack is great. That being said, the gloves leave much to be desired. We’re two weeks into using and the gloves and they are very flimsy and have ripped. Will not purchase again.

First, The material is falling apart and The boxing gloves should be for kids 7 years and under and I’m not sure what type of material was use to make the gloves but has no type of cushion/protection. So it’s a No go for me and my three boys!!!

Advertised as 16 oz gloves, poor material, very similar but not like the pictures

My sensei is beginning to wind down his classes for children and focus more on adults. We held a final event for all the children as a celebration and awarded gifts. I decided to donate these for the occasion. I have to admit, these weren't as resilient as I would expect. But then again, most of the kids are students that train regularly. I think this set is more for lightweight horseplay around the house, and not intended for true contact, even at a child level. The material and padding just wasn't there as we're used to.

I am a former ABF coach who trained fighters for the golden gloves, etc.. Also was a martial arts and kickboxing instructor for many years. Maybe I expected too much of this equipment due to my experience with professional grade gloves and protective gear. This Kanayu equipment is cheaply made from poor quality materials and just isn't very good at all. For very young absolute beginners, maybe it would be okay to see if there was any lasting interest to warrant purchasing better quality, more expensive gear.
