I ordered these for an upcoming trip. I do. not. travel. anywhere. without my pillows. Yes, you read that right. PillowS as in plural, as in 2 pillows go with me EVERYWHERE. If I am sleeping there, my pillows go there. I also take along my own throw blanket, but it is the pillows that take up the space. This isn't an issue when driving, but when flying ... well, it requires a solution, that's where these came into play and got ordered.I use a body pillow and a standard pillow normally, but I am making the consession and taking 2 standard pillows, for our upcoming flight, instead. I was able to get a standard size pillow into the smaller of the 2 sized bags this set comes with (is it the "Large" size?) it took some finagling to get the air out of the bag, but that was because the bag was so full with the pillow. I put the second pillow into the larger of the 2 sizes ("X-Large?") and it was much easier to manage without "popping" the zip-top seal. I found that leaning my arm / legs against that seal as I press out the air worked well in making sure the seal stayed locked tight. I fully intended on giving this item 4 stars because of the ease of "popping" that seal open if not careful when doing that initial press of air out, but then ....I left the second standard pillow (an extra off my guest bed) in the bag and it has stayed sealed for a week now. Even though that seal wants to pop open when you try to push air out, it stays locked tight once you get the air out. This staying power gave that 5th star back!Can't wait to see how they hold up in the long run and reusable factors. (I'm taking 2 extra bags along, for the flight home, just in case!)

Love these low cost travel bags. I've always used Ziplock brand, but with a long costly trip ahead my budget is a little tight. These have done the trick and didn't let any air in within a 24 hour period. I hastily threw a sweater in the bag to test it, but if properly folded you could save lots of room in your luggage or storage space. I'd suggest getting as much air out as possible before sealing and rolling as it takes some muscle and time to push all the air out.

Wow! As someone who is obsessed with traveling light (only out of a carry-on), I am shocked I didn't discover these sooner. These bags, in conjunction with my packing cubes, changed the game for me. I like to use these for heavy sweaters, bulky jackets or jeans, really anything that is hard to roll or takes up too much space. I would recommend these specifically for travel but I also plan to use them at home for out of season clothing and bedding.

These bags are okay, probably 2.5 stars, but do not actually provide the same amount of space saving as the vacuum-based bags. However, I'm reducing the rating to 1 star because I'm angry at the seller's dishonest use of fake reviewers giving inaccurately positive reviews, which misled me into purchasing an inferior product. After spending my free time over Thanksgiving packing up clothing to put away for the winter, we discovered these bags at most reduced space usage by 50%. The zippers also don't work properly and require lots of extra effort to fully close. Surprised by the poor quality, I checked the reviews and discovered nearly all of the 30 I examined were from fake/"professional" (people who get incentives for positive reviews). Shame on the sleazy seller and more shame on the disgusting, greedy, selfish jerks spoiling Amazon for consumers and honest sellers.

I used these for a trip to the rain Pacific NW since my backpack is only water resistant, not water proof. The clasp broke immediately on a couple of them. Other than that, they are sturdy. But very annoying the clasps would break off before first full use as the clasp helps you get all the air out.

After using these to pack for a cruise, I packed using these and to compare, I rolled my clothes. I got about 1/3 more clothes in my suitcase by rolling my clothes. I just threw these away. A big waste of money. I think they may be ok to store items but for packing and traveling, they don’t work

Used these bags for trip to Mexico. Worked great! No issues and did not refill with air during our travels. Even worked after we accidently tore a hole in one of the bags. Used some tape and we were back in business. Our bags were checked at immigration - funny, airport agent took one look at the nicely stacked bags in our suitcase and just sent us through.Worth the purchase for the price. No issues for us.

Cheap and gets the job done. My only complain is the zip is not that easy to close, you have to press the clipper very hard. Will buy again if need more.
