I like this product and I use for reclining fruit for compost

This quite expensive item has been a slight disappointment - I bought it to keep items for recycling in a narrow space in my utility room. However, in normal use (no children etc in the house), I have found the plastic to be very brittle. A horizontal 3-inch crack has appeared approx ½ inch from the bottom, which I suspect may grow longer in time. On closer inspection, the plastic seems slightly thinner here, with some distortion - perhaps a defect in the moulding process. Still usable (at the moment), but not the quality I expected for the price.
