I have 2 boxes of printed photos I'm organizing. I'm at the point now where I need to store them in a more secure and permanent manner. The separate containers in this case should work well for the 4X3 snapshots and there is a storage place in the lid area that can accommodate larger prints.

After my mom passed away, I found myself with a HUGE box of mom and dad's photos. I wanted to keep the important, and meaningful ones, and get rid of the "scenery" photos that don't really mean anything. This photo storage box was a very nice surprise. It has a LOT of little plastic boxes to keep sorted photos in. They all go into the larger box. I do wish the plastic boxes were a bit bigger and held more photos. But, overall, I can't complain. I haven't finished sorting yet. But, this will allow me to label each box after I sort them all. This is great for anyone looking to preserve those important memories.

Pros- nice bag, lots of little pockets for various photo sizes, it comes with several small clear storage cases that all fit nicely in the bag, the zipper is smooth so it opens and closes easily. This is a great way to organize pictures. Luckily, most pictures are digital because I need several of these to store the thousands of pictures I have from my teenage years and my children growing up. I've always thought about if my house ever caught on fire and I had time to grab material things, my pictures and childrens school art would be the thing I would grab because that's the stuff money can't replace. This gives me peace of mind knowing it's protected. It does come with a carrying strap but I don't have any use for a strap because I won't be carrying it around.The cons, I wish it came in sizes so I could have a larger one but that's not really a con. The only thing I don't care for is the lock code is 3 digits. Being that some things require a 4 digit code and some require a 6 digit code, I just don't want another code to keep up with and remember. But luckily, I dont really need to keep my pictures locked anyway so I just won't use it.

I am glad I got this, it's a safe way to protect memories that cannot be replaced. Although I scanned many of my photos already, this is a good way to keep them in a safe place as a backup.

The DEEGO Photo Storage Box is a good product for helping to store and organize not only years of printed photos but also slides/transparencies, negatives, flash drives, DVDs, etc.The storage box is a nice size for storing lots of old "memories" whether they're print or digital. The included storage boxes not only hold printed pics nicely but also are good for storing 2x2 slides and other small items.There is room, if you don't use all of the included plastic boxes, for storing DVDs, envelopes of negatives, photo prints up to 8x10 inches (I sandwiched mine between cardboard) etc..In addition, there's an area for holding smaller items such as SD cards, flash drives, etc..I give the product 5 stars for it's versatility for storing and (potentially) protecting keepsakes. What I can't review (and hope I never have a chance to) is how well this product will do in the fireproof and waterproof categories.

I bought this size specifically for the hundreds of 4x6 prints I have. However, they do not fit in the plastic boxes. The boxes are too "short" on the 4" side, so photos cannot lay flat: They end up arched because the top and bottom are against the walls of the plastic box.
