Highly recommend.
Works great. My hair is extremely hard to curl and does not hold curl with hot curling iron. I wash my hair at night , put in air dry curl cream, wrap, sleep, & wake up with awesome curls that stay for days. I only finger comb through curls. If my hair is still slightly damp l sometimes will use a blowdryer on low befor I remove the octocurl. Sometimes I wear a silk cap over it a night. Can't say I see a difference when I don't though. I love it, no heat damage to hair ! I bought the long. I have long hair past shoulders. I maybe could have even got the medium. The long has more than enough room.

The best
These worked great. I had beach waves everyday. Very comfortable to sleep in also.

Maybe user error…?
Not really sure I know how to use these properly. I have very curly hair and though this may give me a loose curl style option. They are somewhat easy to use, but I think there’s a learning curve. My ends got tangled up in them and my hair was a frizzy mess. Not really sure if it’s me or the product

Beautiful curls and chaos-free mornings!
I got the no-headband octocurl for my daughter. Her hair is fine and very straight, but she likes it to be curled now and then and I like it curled for church and special occasions. We had tried other methods of heatless curls, but I fell on a video promoting this particular curler, and I knew it was what we needed. I'm so glad we got them!I started on completely dry hair and made a zigzag part. Then I put the curlers in using small sections of hair. I love the addition of the elastics at the end. They made it so a "ponytail holder" was always available. After all of the hair was in, I lightly sprayed it with a water bottle and then put on a satin bonnet. She slept on them overnight. The curlers stayed in perfectly. They did loosen up a little bit, but not overly. She said they were much, much more comfortable to sleep on than any other method of overnight curls we have tried. The next morning, I took the curlers out one by one and immediately sprayed each curl with hairspray as soon as I had it off the curler. Her hair was beautifully curled--not too tight, not too loose. The curls held throughout the day, but not as well as I had hoped. I think using a holding product on her hair when rolling would be helpful, and we will be trying that next time.It made getting ready so much faster! Normally curling her hair takes about 15-20 minutes, but this was less than five. The reason I am rating four stars instead of five is the color. They are a medium turquoise in the picture, but they are a very dark teal in person. That was disappointing for her as I thought they were going to be her favorite color.Overall, I highly, highly recommend. We also bought another set for our other daughter and had great results with them as well. Her hair is thick and naturally curly, so we gave it a good test on two very different hair types. Very pleased with this purchase.

Nope. Just Nope.
I have 2C/3A type hair. I thought the Octocurl would help me shape my curls better. Wrong! The "tentacles" kept slipping out after trying to put them in place, took 2-3 times to get them to stay. After my hair dried, they were difficult to get out.The ends of my hair didn't get curled. My hair looked like a cheap, frizzy wig from a thrift store when I separated the "curls." I'm kicking this trash to the curb where it belongs and going back to tried and true methods that work for me to shape my curls.

Works on super straight hair!
The media could not be loaded. My fav curler. First time using the no headband version. Hair came out super curly. Maybe a bit too curly but I will not take a star away for that. If anything they get a star added. I have super straight hair and this gave me curls upon curls upon curls. It’s the evening now and the curls are STILL there , a lil softer but still there and I have not added any product to it after I took the octocurl out this am. If you are a straight hair girl like me, this is a must have. Next time I will wrap my hair using two curlers instead of one so it’s more wavy versus spirals.

Nope!
I was not a fan of this. When I woke up the next morning It had all but fallen out and my hair was a wreck! I have the most luck with a long boot sock! Back it goes!

Love it
This is the results of my very first time, it took me about 20 minutes to do. I’m 100% sure that it can be done quicker but I never do anything with my hair (curled it once in my life I believe) so my hands have no idea how to do anything apparently lmao but I found it much easier to section your hair first into how many curls you want rather than trying to part it after it’s on your head already. The hair clip I had holding it down was a circular one and I feel like that may have added to my issues with it moving when trying to twist my hair up. The end product is nice, it’s a little too tight for what I like but I’m 100% sure that can be changed, just gotta experiment a bit to see what you like. It was definitely worth the time put in. I didn’t put any products in before I put the curlers in but I used hair spray before I combed it out with my fingers. Kinda feelin like Shirley Temple 😂Bottom line, if you don’t curl your hair often (or you do and are looking for an easier way) because it’s a pain and time consuming, I’d recommend this completely!
