A brighter alternative to the amber glass of other vintage bulbs.
Was looking for a brighter vintage style bulb and this is perfect. Gives a great whiter light but still retains a vintage look in the bowl style ceiling light. Would recommend. Seemed expensive before but as it’s exactly what I was looking for I’m happy to pay the price. I hope the bulbs last a good while.

NOT DIMMABLE
The listing claims this bulb is dimmable and lists it as a ‘special feature’. However, it is not dimmable as shown on the packaging (see picture) and proven by trying. This product is being missold.

Extremely bright, no buzz or strange noises, filament looks much better in a clear lamp shade than standard LED bulbs. Very happy with these.

a little bit noisy, not suitable very well for dimming, but very bright I have to say, hence I used these outside the house

Good replacement
Well it's a light bulb and fits with the 'stripped back' decoration we've just completed in the dining room. This replaced the supplied Ikea bulb in the standard lamp. Larger physically but gives a warm subtle light. Worth having in the cupboard as a spare and cheaper than Ikea!

Two out of six failed in 12 months
I bought six of these in December 2017. One of them failed about two months ago and another has just stopped working. For a claimed life of 10,000 hours and only a few hours' use so far each day, this is terrible quality. I'm about to see what I can do about getting a refund because sellers like Amazon have a duty to refund/replace for at least two years, but they'll probably just break the law and redirect me to Osram.
