I sometimes need to pull a Tipke brand aluminum cart behind a bicycle to go get groceries or garden supplies. I have the proper official hitch from Tipke to attach the cart to a bike seat post, but the Tipke adapter is only made to fit a standard diameter seat post; it just will not accommodate the newer large diameter seat posts that come on the Ford GoBike I rent. This handle bar holder adapter does accommodate the larger seat post and fastens very securely so I have a high level of confidence that my cart will remain attached; the cart hitch then attaches to the included bar. I have tried it out now for 25 miles of grocery hauling and it works perfectly. It's aluminum so it does not rust and came with the allen wrench/hex key to tighten loosen and adjust the clamping mechanism.
