The Sprinkler controller was rather easy to install and set up. The problem is, the documentation is very poor. There is NO description on how to setup the date and time. I linked it to my wifi and the date stays at Sunday and the time is 6 hours off. Also no information on weather it can be set to turn on in the morning and again in the evening. No description on the Timer pad on the front of the unit.After using this unit for 4 months, its best to save your money. #9 zone went out and #6 and 7 zones go on at the same time. No reset button to set to factory settings. I've switched the wires to different zones and they still fail. Also, SUN shows all the time, rain or shine.

I gave this one star only because it is easy to install. That’s the only good thing about it. It’s not user friendly at all. The instruction booklet writing is so small that it was hard to read even with a magnifying glass. Instructions are very vague on how to operate and zero information on how to setup watering schedules. Not in booklet or online. One zone turned itself on when I wasn’t home for no apparent reason and zone 7 would come on with zone 6. I would return it but unfortunately I didn’t get it installed soon enough to realize how bad it is and missed the return window. Also, I see other identical controllers on amazon with different names And I find the five star ratings on here very suspicious! Almost as if the company put them on there to get you to buy it. Buyers Beware!!!

It does hook up to WiFi, you can set it up and control it from the phone app, and that is about the only positive. Other posts noted the lack of documentation and I figured I was texh savvy enough to figure it out. I admit defeat. The app is not intuitive or user friendly. It does not seem to show a watering history (which would be nice to see if the rain shut off feature is actually working). After setting up new times I go back to the app a day later and most of my zones were turned off (possibly user error but I have gone through the process a few times now and have a decent handle on it). I recommend finding another unit for the price. There seem to be plenty out there these days.

The app loaded but would never connect to wifi. Tried 6 times over 2 days. Got different brand Wifi sprinkler control. Worked perfectly and easily first time in simple set up. We reached out by email for assistance before getting a different one. Their reply was”Our Product works I am sorry.” Returning this product.

Horrible documentation. No installation instructions. I still have a part that I have no idea what it is used for. Only designed to accept control wires coming from above. You have to rig the mounting to make it work with wires coming from below. Time on the controller was off by several hours and the day of the week was off by one day altough the calendar date was correct. After monkeying around with the app, I was able to figure out how to upgrade the firmware. However, the day of the week is still off by one day.The controller is up an running but the app used to program it really is cumbersome. The user interface is not intuitive at all. Go ahead and spend the extra money for the other highly rated smart controllers. This one is not worth the cost savings.
