It is used to connect two female elements. Chimney liner connectors are made of acid-resistant chrome-nickel steel plates in grade 1.4404 according to DIN 17441 with a thickness of 0.5 to 0.8 [mm]. They are mainly used for flue heating equipment. Such chimneys are resistant to the corrosive effects of acidic condensate formed during the combustion process.
