SPD UK Pinboard Cork Wall Tiles 300mm x 300mm - 10mm Thick - Pack of 6

I don't actually use as intended but can recommend wholeheartedly for model railway scenics, the self adhesive properties are questionable so I recommend your own.

I bought the cork tiles to use in my studio for pinning stained glass pieces together ready for soldering. Works well on all levels.

Good thickness. Added some glue to stick them on a piece of plywood then on to walk, then painted them.

These are great! I did leave them out for a few days as per the instructions and they stuck easily and firmly even on a slightly wonky wall. No problems at all. Perfect!

I followed the instructions closely when putting these up, but after a couple months they started falling off the wall. Disappointed, as they seemed like a good quality product. Nice and thick, but I wouldn't rely on the adhesive.

Everyone Is saying that their cork boards are falling off their walls. If you go by the instructions you won't have any problems.1. Unwrap the pack as soon as its delivered.2. Let them stand for 3 days before applying them to your required surface so the cork can climatise.3.When applying them pull off backing plastic and put both hands on each side of the board so your putting even pressure to all areas and hold and press for 20-30 seconds. This assures the board is fully stuck.😊HANDY TIP😊These are for light pinning not shelve erecting. Only pin paper or at most light weight T-Shirts like I have to display my designs in my office.If you stick to these rules your be fine. If not then they are bound to fall off 😂HIGHLY RECOMMENDED 😊😊👍🙏

The quality of the cork tiles is very good. It is dense and grips drawing pins very firmly. The product is let down by the self adhesive backing. When you present the tiles to the wall they grip immediately which is great and you cannot imagine they will ever come off. However, four days they were found on the floor and had to be glued back on to the painted wall. There was no damage to the wall - it was as if they had never been there. The instructions on acclimatisation of the tiles before application were followed to the letter, having noticed that other purchasers had the same problem. Now back in position and they are very good.
