*****Updated Review********When I originally received this dog seat cover the first time, I wrote a not-so-stellar review. I was VERY impressed at how quickly the company reached out to me, wanting to make it right. I am happy to report that they DID make it right. A replacement was sent out promptly, and it was an improved replacement. The dog seat cover is much sturdier than the first one and I have not had any issues whatsoever. In fact, I plan to purchase a second one to have while I’m cleaning the other one, so I can easily rotate them out when I need to. Kudos to this company who really cares about the satisfaction of their customers. I will definitely buy from them again. They certainly deserve 5 stars.I have purchased dog seat car covers that looked to be less durable than this one, but lasted a great deal longer....this one looked great out of the package, looked to cover a great deal of my car from my dog’s hair, but only on the SECOND instance of utilizing it, with my dog simply sitting on it, it RIPPED COMPLETELY IN HALF! I was shocked, to say the least. There’s no fixing this thing, and of course, it’s too late to return. This was a very unlucky purchase on my part, and Amazon was not helpful in replacing it with another. I have no idea if this problem has been reported with this product before, or if I have the honor of being the only one. Anyways. There you go. My review is of my experience. Hopefully it doesn’t happen to you if you decide to purchase this car seat cover!

I'm really impressed by this product. I've had it for over a year and took my dogs regularly to a nature preserve to go walking in the woods. And I have a full size Toyota sedan with really high-end leather seats and this protected everything... the inside of the doors, the back of the seat in front of them, the seat itself. It's so easy side zips down and then I unload them from the car I got some seat belt clips so that their harnesses that they're wearing could be attached to the seat belt clips so that they're not in danger if there was an accident. I am so absolutely thrilled with the quality of this. their nails are sharp and they absolutely have a fit when the vet trims them so it's so easy for one of those nails to pop through the leather seats and this is so well-made and so thick that there is not even a hint of problem with their fingernails. My big boy is 70 pounds and his nails have never once poked through this seat cover.Moving to California and the only thing that's gonna save my seats on the drive is this cover!

QWell, I bought this May 30,2018 and thought I wrote a glowing review, but can't find it now. Anyway, I loved it, seemed so well made and strong and great fit. Well, while vacuuming it yesterday, found a 6 inch rip in the seam by the seat belt opening! I have one 75lb dog and it's torn already! Not happy! I plan on trying to sew it up if I canget a heavy duty needle. For now, put duct tape over it to keep it from ripping open even more.This manufacturer saw my bad review of the things that went wrong with the new car seat. They acknowledged there had been a few problems but had hopefully fixed them. They offered me a new car seat cover and I agreed. I have only been using it for a week but it seems very high quality. The seam that ripped before is now in a better location to avoid stress on it and the Velcro closings are made different and seem very secure. I will update the review after I use it for a longer time frame. But do respect this company for reaching out to me to solve my bad experience.

Of all the years on Amazon, I rarely write reviews but this was one of those products that has pushed me out of my comfort zone to write this review.So firstly, I began scouring the internet for a seat cover because I have a Samoyed who loves expresses love through leaving her fur everywhere and I recently purchased a mid sized sedan. I was deeply concerned with the sizing of these seat covers because many of them are for smaller dogs, compact vehicles, or only cover a portion of the seats. This product on the other hand fits perfectly in my mid size vehicle! With the hammock on, it literally keeps my Samoyed in a bowl along with all her fur! Though I have yet to use this for a long period of time, the quality does seem to be quite sturdy.Oh and if you are still not convinced, I am not sure if it comes with every package but mine actually came with 2 doggy seat belts! As this was something I have been meaning to get, I was pleasantly surprised. Talk about getting the full bang for your buck! Would highly recommend getting this product if you have a mid-size vehicle or smaller.

So, we bought the more expensive seat cover but in this case it does not appear we got what we paid for. The seat over is of ok quality, but the fabric isn't very heavy. More importantly the width is about 2" narrower than our rear seat (2018 Nissan Titan Truck). You can hang the flaps over the edges of the seat and still get ok coverage, but there is plenty of dog hair that can easily get through. Seat belt holes are a must, but they are universal fit. They are long openings closed with Velcro. Problem is that once you pull your seatbelts through the Velcro tends to open back up further than needed, once again creating a larger opening than needed and dog hair easily comes through. If you weren't using the seatbelt holes then maybe it would work much better? One final note, the loops that go over the headrests and secure the cover to the seat are actually too close together for our back seat. You can still use them, but they are stretched just about as far as possible and because of that the back piece can easily sag and ... you guessed it ... provide another opportunity for dog hair to get behind the seat cover.
