Perfect plug replacement
Good fit connector. Used on my lava lamp, my dog chewed off the plug. Great replacement plug, easy to install.

Exactly what I needed to repair my vintage lamp
I have a 1960s brass standing floor lamp that I inherited but had a damaged cord. This was very easy to install and has been working great.

Quick and easy to use and put together

About As Basic As You Can Get
This is intended for very small wiring projects - 18/2 to 16/2. Non-polarizing, Non-grounding straight blades. What appears in the picture as a hard plastic shell is instead a very soft rubber. The smooth brass surface of the wire mounting makes it difficult to keep the wire from climbing up and out when tightening the screw. (Yes, its being turned in the right direction.) There are supposedly strain relief slots for the insulated jackets but it is too small for 16/2 wiring and 18/2 barely fits as well. Given the soft rubber shell I cannot see what would hold the wire from popping out of the relief slot with the first unintended tug on the cord, leaving just the soft, stranded wires to bear future burdens. I would not recommend for any standard wiring applications.
