Tombow 57327 MONO Black Eraser, Small, 5-Pack. Cleanly Removes Marks Without Damaging Paper

I bought these for classroom use, as I thought black erasers might discourage my students from poking pencils into the erasers. So far, they've worked well. My students have found that they erase cleanly and as completely as possible. I recommend them.

I have been on this journey of finding the best of in every stationery category and this eraser erases like MAGIC!! I use prismacolor col-erase and pentel leads for sketching before lining with microns and erasing all the pencils. This never smears and removes every bit of the pencils. I also tried the white tombow erasers and for some reason that is terrible but this is the one!

Tombow art supplies are top notch. I have several of their pencil style erasers but I hadn't encountered their rectangular erasers before. Very soft material, delicate and capable of picking up graphite from bristol paper without damaging the surface. For less nuanced, large area erasing I tend to use a Staedtler since it is larger and a bit firmer. Would definitely pick up more of these in future. Not cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I've used all the major types. The paper ripping Pink Pearl/Pet. The crumbly gum erasers. The delicate kneaded rubber. And my previous favorite, the white vinyl erasers.When it comes to flat out removing pencil lines, these erasers will make the failings of the aforementioned types more obvious by not having those flaws. It isn't going to eat your paper on first contact like classic pink erasers. It going to crumble to dust in your hands like the gum ones. It doesn't require a lot of patience like kneaded rubber. And it will reveal just how smear prone those white vinyl erasers are by not doing that.They're very good erasers, coming in a close second to Sakura Sumo erasers, which are more or less the same type of eraser, just a bit better. But you won't go wrong with these for erasing unwanted pencil marks.

These are great, stylish erasers. So far the only problem I had was a brief period where the eraser was very, very smudgy and left a black residue. Hasn't happened again and I use these a lot, but I can't guarantee that it won't happen to you as I've only gone through one of them (I'm on my second one).

These are great little erasers! They do not leave black on your page at all, and he raised better than some of the white erasers do! I will always keep these on hand, and I think it was a good price for how many you get at the time I bought them.

We did a three round competition six erasers. This one came in first twice and then second place once. We think it is the top eraser that you can get.It removes even heavy pencil lines, and doesn’t leave very much dust behind, and leaves the paper smooth and not scratched up.

Has a little bit of pilling but erases very well. Even if you write super hard the eraser will make the paper look brand new
