These LED recessed lighting incorporate a nice nightlight, light temperature selector, and are 2-piece lights with the wiring box inverter and quick-connect pigtail to the LED downlight. Each light has a compact wiring box with three marinette connectors included. Once wired, the hinged door stays firmly closed. The lights include a cut-out template and the 4” models fit into existing cut-outs of other 4" brands. I really like that the gasket which is physically attached to the light has no risk of miss alignment during installation and seals up the ceiling airtight. I put other brands off remodel LED in before and had to use chalk to seal the gap between ceiling and baffle. Not on these though. The light performance in standard/downlight mode is good – the 2700k-5000k appear to be true to color temperature. Light performance in the nightlight mode is great – the halo lighting looks neat while providing adequate light to walk through a room or hallway. I installed these in a closed toilet room, master bathroom, a hallway, and laundry room that does not have natural light. The nightlight feature is great for safety when you have to transition through these rooms at night when lighting is needed. Our landry room is attached to the garage so that is really nice to see the nightlight feature on whike my hands are full with bringing in groceries or other things. The profile of these downlights are a little ‘thicker’ than other recessed potlights to accommodate the nightlight feature. Still a very sleek look though.Installation: The wiring box has cut-outs to allow left, top, or right wiring. Select the light temperature mode during installation; the switch is at the top of the wiring box and not easily accessible once installed (I like the day light color). The total length of cord between light and box is approx 9”. The nightlight mode looks great; since it spreads the nighlight across the ceiling, I would recommend to install on flat surfaces or knockdown ceilings only. Popcorn or textured ceiling would produce a lot of shadows.Regardless of recessed light brand, I strongly recommend using 2-piece lights over single-piece lights. The inverter boxes are great, and the included push in connectors were a huge bonus. There is enough room to use 12/2 gauge wire, but really only need a 14/2 gauge wire in the boxes for the low amperage LEDs. You will need to get a 3/8" knockout wire retainer to run your Rolmex wire into the inverter box as that is not included for each fixture. The lighting is great, and I put this on a Lutron dimmer and both night light and primary work great.Overall, for the price, these are fantastic. They look classy and simple, and the night lights seem pointless during the day, but they really work well at night.

I got these lights to add better lighting to my bedroom. The other rooms in the house have similar recessed lighting, and it makes such a difference! Installation was similar to the ones I had previously picked up at the hardware store. I had my friend help me do the electrical, as it's his profession. They work great! I have attic access for wiring which is nice, but these lights are "canless", and they daisy-chain together to a main juntion box, making it much easier for installation if you don't have attic access. I love the nightlight feature. I like to have it on while relaxing at night. I'd recommend these lights to anyone looking for an upgrade. Just make sure you have an adequate electrical setup, and be safe.

We ordered these to add light to a relatively dark family room. As we wanted the lights installed in an area with no current light fixtures, we hired an electrician to install these for us. These do not have a "can", it is more of a thick plate saucer that clips into a circular hole cut into your ceiling/drywall material. Our electrician had no issues setting these up.There is a switch that controls the color tone of the lights that you must select before wiring the control boxes up to the main power. If you want to change the color tone down the line, you may need to do so in the attic (or wherever you install these) as there is no remote control option or smart Wi-Fi type of ability to change the color tone on the fly.Now for the night light feature. Originally we thought that it might be a little gimmicky, but boy were we surprised. These look impressively high-end. The night light feature, just like the main can light center, is dimmable. And, these lights will work on a single dimmer light switch. Overall, we are over the moon with these lights and are seriously considering ordering more for our home. Our only regret was ordering the 4" lights instead of the 6" lights. The 4" lights give off a decent amount of light, but not as much as the 6" lights we have in another part of our home.

Very nice recessed lighting with good color rendering and high output. The secondary light ring makes for great ambient lighting and can be dimmed via dimmer switch just like the main down lights can. There is some slight flickering at anything below 50% dimming level, but that may be my dimmer switches fault.I tried many different brands of recessed lighting and these won the battle. 10 out of 10 would buy again.

This came in handy and is perfect for our bathrooms and steps. Keeps me from stubbing my toe in the middle of the night. and I can now get rid of those usb powered night lights on the stairs.I also really like the glow affect. It does add a bit of great ambiance. Since their LED's I'm not worried about running up my electric bill either.Overall, Perfect little lights and Highly recommended!

Comes with six lights, six junction boxes, and each box has a set of quick-connect items - just slide the wires from the junction box into one side of the quick-connect fitting, pop out whatever punch-out fits your house wiring best, put the house wires into the other side of the quick connect, and attach the connector from the junction box to the LED light itself.Because of the connector from the junction box not being permanently connected to the light you can put the junction box and wiring in the ceiling, paint without the LED fixtures connected, and then attach the fixtures after (it also makes it easier to swap out the fixtures/junction boxes if needed without having to do all of it).The junction box has the switch on it to switch between lighting colors. Each is about 700 lumens - about 10% dimmer than a regular 60w/800lm light bulb (but great for a pattern arrangement on the ceiling). The night light is much less. You can dim both with a dimmer switch if you have it (but depending on how new your switch is you may have some flickering - newer LED-designed ones are best).So far I'm a fan.
