I bought this for my wife as the smaller Santoku knife we have has a handle that is a bit too large for her and the handle started to fall apart with dishwasher use (I know it's a no no but try telling that to my wife ;-)Any way, this knife is sharp, I mean really sharp. The handle is more rounded than I thought but she loves it so that is all that matters (You know the 'Happy wife' saying). Great smaller sized Santoku and cuts through just about anything it's meant to and more. And the blade looks great!

Get this knife. You will not regret it. Nice and shape. Cuts through things like butter.

Handle is perfect for my wife's hand, but the pointy heel at the butt of the handle is right where one of my fingers wants to be. Also, beware of the extremely sharp right-angle point at the back of the blade. After it drew blood, I ground mine off.Nice steel, non corrosive, sharpens well.

Nice knife, great balance, light but stable. I have had this for one month and just had to hone for the first time…after honing it was crazy sharp again. I would purchase this again

This knife is beautiful but I’m surprised that the handle feels hollow and more lightweight than the blade….which means I have to be very careful not to drop it because it will land “blade first”. Not only will it ruin the blade but it could land on a toe or pet.
