DBC100 Duraboot CV Boot Range

This is the third "stretchy" CV boot that I have purchased, having struggled to get the previous two over the installation cone. This one was still very difficult to stretch, but having soaked it in boiling water to soften it up and then with plenty of washing up liquid on the cone, it just about stretched. Made the job so much easier than having to remove the CV joint from the driveshaft and far more robust (presumably; time will tell) than the split CV boots that you join with glue, that only seem to last a few months before leaking at the seem. Good purchase and convinced me that I never to separate a CV joint from driveshaft to change a boot again.

Product seems a little small for my Ford Kuga outer boot.It did stretch well over the cone fitting tool tho,and doesn’t appear to be leaking.

Nice and stretchy, slides easily enough over the cone. Recommended
