Great product for those who have had sleeve and bypass. I take this one at night since it’s solid pill and 12 hours later another brand that’s a capsule so it’s easier on my stomach during the day.

Comparable to Slow Fe — Much More Affordable & Just as Effective These have been a great alternative to Slow Fe. My hematologist originally recommended Slow Fe because regular iron tablets were not absorbing properly, and I was having to get iron infusions. After switching to slow-release iron, my iron levels improved. I decided to try 21st Century Slow Release Iron because it’s significantly more affordable, and I’m very happy I did. They work just as well for me and have helped maintain my iron levels without needing infusions. One of the biggest advantages is the packaging. Slow Fe comes in individual blister packs that can be hard to open. These come in a simple bottle, which is much more convenient — no struggling to open each pill. They are also gentle on my stomach, which is very important with iron supplements. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative to Slow Fe that actually works, this is a great option. Highly recommend!

Great product but such a waste in packaging. Iron always make me throw up yet I’m deficient in it so need to take it. When I saw these were slow release I figured I’d give it a try hoping I’d do better with it. I was right and this doesn’t upset my stomach at all. At first I tried it with food to be safe but now I am able to just take it as is and not be affected. Before this I would throw up within 10min of having anything with iron in it. For the price, 60 pills is wonderful. Very cost effective and pill is nice and smaller side. Only con is the bottle. Such a huuggeee bottle for nothing. It takes up so much space yet only the bottom is covered in pills. This doesn’t need to be in a gigantic bottle just to seem like you’re getting more. You already get a lot, just put it in a smaller bottle with less plastic and waste. Bottom line: great!

I’m anemic and my doctor told me I need to take iron daily. I have gotten very nauseous in the past taking iron supplements. I have been taking this for a year now and my iron levels are much better. I haven’t experienced the nausea like I did before. I’m sticking with this brand.

Super affordable and does not upset your stomach at all. Thank goodness for slow release iron because the other type makes me so sick to my stomach if you were on the fence because you were nervous about your stomach this is definitely the one to try.

Unsure about effectiveness, but I like how small they are - makes them easy to swallow. If only all vitamins/supplements were tiny.

I love these pills. Gentle on the tummy and such great value for money. I get them for my parents as well. Used to get them on an Amazon subscription in the US. And was pretty miffed that I couldn't get them in Australia. But nowwww. I can. Yaaaaayyyy.
