Dexter Down Under Paperback – January 1, 2016

This is a well illustrated graphic novel.

I have to admit, I find Dexter Morgan to be an intriguing character, with his clear-eyed self-knowledge of what he is. In this adventure, he's off to Australia, to partner up with a policewoman in investigating a series of disappearances. The policewoman in question reminds him strongly of his sister...but has some unsisterly designs on our Dexter.

I didn't read the description good, not what I thought it was but steal glad to have it.

This was just what I was expecting. It was a great read & I enjoyed the illustrations. The book came in great shape in a a timely manner in a clear plastic slip cover to keep from damage.

The book was a little ditzy. I didn't realize it was a graphic comic when I bought it. Not worth the money.

Never assume...I thought this was another wonderful novel about Dexter, but it's a glorified comic book. So sad.

art was very good and the story line was entertaining. I recommend this book to all fans of the Dexter character

Buyer beware on this one. It's a hardcover comic book. Not at all what I expected. No where does it say this in the description. It lists it as a hardcover. And it is, just a hardcover comic book, not an actual novel. I do see where if you scroll through everything it is in the genre comic books so I guess it's kind of my fault. But I really feel amazon should make it clear in the main description. I was not the only one disappointed by this. I did return it - cost me $4 but at least some of my original purchase price is being refunded.

Was shocked to find the book, that I had thought was the next in the series, was actually a graphic novel when it arrived. Perhaps it might get kids to read, as it's a hard-cover comic book, but it's not for me.

I have the full collection of Dexter and when I saw this I was glad that another had been published, boy was I disappointed, it is a comic book and it could have been so much more. The story very weak. Illustrations are good if you like comics, I prefer words to pictures. Hope that the next instalment of Dexter if there are any more is like to rest and not in comic form.

Different, but strangely enjoyable

Think Dexter is really good in all its forms apart from the last series on TV. This is another medium to enjoy this brilliant ongoing story.
