Covelin Women's Medium Retro Sling Shoulder Bag from, Soft Faux Leather Handbag

Medium size purse with room and designed nicely. Bought the black version; it’s made of vegan leather and mine looks very nice, had no smell, & stitching is great. Two outer pockets hold my keys, and my cell phone with room to spare. I was hoping for room inside to carry a personal water bottle and it will (partly because it has a flat bottom). In fact I put a pair of regular slip-on shoes inside when visiting a friend last night instead of socks. The lining, if “plastic” is flexible high-end textured with pattern with look & strength of fabric but also waterproof! I was not sure I would like the wide shoulder strap but it is so comfortable and does not slide off the shoulder so I count it a plus! I panicked when it first arrived as all the zippers were gapped in a section ... quickly learned they are “self-healing”. Trying to convince myself it’s not too selfish to buy another ... in navy.

This purse is exactly the size I wanted. The measurements in the ad & are correct. The color in the photo happens to match my monitor coloring exactly right. It's got just enough design, like the slanted zipper in the front that makes it look VERY simple & classy. There are many divider pockets inside to help you organize your smaller things & the longer items. I can keep everything organized perfectly well. I bought 3 of these purses in different colors and I LOVE THEM. I especially like the strap & the way it's made. The strap adjusts and it's nice & soft.

I really like the bag, its a good size, not to small or to big, and the color is great. The only issue I had with itIs the smell. It had a very bad fish odor. I don't know if it had some kind of chemical that was sprayed into the bag but, it was horrendous. Instead of tossing it out or returning it I washed the insides out with laundry detergent at least 2 times to get the bad odor out, it finally worked.. I'm not sure if anyone else had this problem but the manufacturer better do something about it....what a turn off.

Nice bag, perfect size. I wanted to transition from huge, impractical bags I usually use to something smaller but not too small. The compartments are great, the “vegan leather” is very convincing and even buttery looking, and the zippers and hardware are surprisingly well made for the price. However, I am worried about the underside of the strap as others have mentioned. It’s a really cheap feeling canvas type material and I’m not sure why half the strap is vegan leather and the other half is this strange material. It feels like it could literally crumble after awhile.However, I still like this bag enough to give it the full 5 stars and I’ll probably order another one in a different color.

This handbag is soft. However, it came with a fish smell as soon as I opened it. At first I thought that the smell was temporary and would go away well that never happened. I aired it, left it open, sprayed with Lysol and the fishy smell is still strong I really don’t know what to do. The smell iis awful. I may have to return it.

This is a nicely made bag and there's plenty of room. The interior smells horrible. I've had smelly bags before. Febreze and carpet fresh. I should be able to carry it in about a month.

I opened the purse I really like it. Pretty. But the zipper chain was in middle of zipper. Each side of was closed. The inside middle zipper the same but so far the zippers are working. I'm use to carrying a bucket type purse with a drawstring but to heavy. I'm 51 now and I'm tired of a bigger heavy purse. What I had in my old purse it in this new purse. When I go places I sometimes carry my phone and tablet chargers with me. This purse is very light weight. Which I love. I just filled it but haven't actually used it yet but will see how it goes. If something goes wrong like zipper not working or anything else I will leave another review. If it works out for me I'm going to order more colors. This purse is classic and stylish.

It looks just like its picture but SMELLS. I know feaux leather had the potential, but GOD. So disappointing…. Returning tomorrow

It smells. Seriously, it stinks. Like garbage and old plastic. Too late to send back.
