FoxAlien 69mm Diameter Dust Shoe for CNC Router, Compatible with 52mm Spindle Motor and 65mm Router, Hose Diameter 38mm

This is a must have for a cnc machine. I was having problems with my cnc jamming on the x axis as there was a lot of saw dust (expected) so I bought this as I do have a foxAlien cnc machine. And it’s done the job. also it dose collect a lot of dust and its little brushes help lift the saw dust as well. I like how the bottom is magnetic quick release so it makes it easier to change your bits. And it’s built really well. I personally would recommend

Bought for my Workbee CNC, fits no problem, well packaged. Was planning on 3d Printing a dust shoe but decided to just pay the money and get this one. Delighted I did. Will print an adapter for my vaccum hose to joined instead of duct tape.

This works great on my FoxAlien WM3020 CNC. I have it connected to the FoxAlien HSF-800 vacuum cleaner and have the Genmitsu 710W spindle. Although the shoe is some what larger than the Genmitsu one for my 300W spindle it definitley does a better job at removing the dust. Couple of points to be aware of; 1. Whilst the dust shoe is fully attached you can not see the cutting bit. This is not to much of a problem as the bottom half of the shoe that has the bristles on is connected be a couple of magnets and unclips quite easily giving full access to the spindle for changing bits. 2. Make sure that there is a big enough gap between the bottom of your spindle outer case and opening of the dust shoe to make sure the debris can enter the shoe cavity. First time I used it I noticed that the suction was non existent then realised I had mounted the shoe to far up the spindle casing. Dropped it down slightly and it worked just great.

It's well made but disappointingly it fouls the guard on the z assembly of my genmitsu 4040pro. It would probably work if I removed it but that doesn't sound like a good idea. Fox Alien read this review and contacted me offering return even though it was beyond the 30 days. Great service.

This dust collector is simply awesome. I know that word gets used way too much, but the mess that this thing gets rid of is something to behold. If there were 10 stars it would get all of them.

Really good, robust and wear resistant. Just a remark: better tape the parts, the magnets imo aren't strong enough, not that the parts came lose during ops but i wouldn't go without a little insurance policy.

Quasi indispensabile. Perfetto per aspirare la maggior parte della polvere prodotta dalla fresatrice. Sul mio Masuter Pro con una fresa tipo Makita ho dovuto fare un upgrade facendo i braccetti più alti per poter sfruttare al meglio l’asse Z. Prima dell’upgrade, la posizione della fresa con il modulo per aspirazione mi lasciava solo pochi centimetri di movimento.

I bought this hoping it would work with my machine since i have both a 52mm spindle and a 65mm router for my setup however, the body of the attachment collides with the frame of my Z axis keeping the spindle from making contact with the media even with my spindle seated as low in the bracket as possible. I still have it 4 stars just for the quality of the attachment. I know this wasn't made with my Anolex 3020 in mind. Hopefully I can figure out a modification to make it work. Update: After finding the adapter plate for my 65mm router to attach, I was able to attach and use the Fix-alien dust brush with my setup. So far working as intended and no issues with the bottom coming detached from the top with the magnet's. If this is happening to you, adjust it so that the bristles just barely touch you media when in use. You don't need it pushed down to the point of the bristles bending for it to do its job.
