GU5.3 LED Light Bulbs, MR16 5W LED Bulbs, Equivalent to 50W Halogen Bulbs [Energy Class A+]

Our new house had loads of 50W halogens all through the house (over 10 in just a kitchen area).Replaced them with these 5W Yafido GU5.3 LED Bulbs and happy so far. They should pay back in lower energy use in a year but we at least don't mind leaving the lights on a bit more especially since its winter time.Light is almost the same - colour is almost identical (yellowish) to the halogens.I thought I may have to replace the transformers to LED one's but so far I have had no flickering or anything.I have been using these for a week or so now and none have failed - so far so good and fingers crossed they last!

3 of them having a connection problems, poor quality!

Whilst these lights feel quite cheap and plasticy when you unwrap them, once installed they are indistinguishable from more expensive and solid versions. The photos looked (to me anyway) like the bezel was finished in white - but the whole assembly is actually polished aluminium.

I used these LED bulbs to replace some old ones with standard filaments - they use about 12% of the power are are about 2x as bright, first class. I don’t feel able to comment on durability at this stage
