Dry, lightweight sack
It is what it is, a good, very lightweight, and compact dry bag. I've used it to hang food when backpacking in areas that allow hanging food. It packs down super small, which is why I was so interested to begin with. Seems pretty sturdy, I've thrown it around camp on various terrain and held probably about 5-10 lbs of stuff when hanging from the tree without issues. I haven't filled it with knives and sticks, but it hasn't been pierced yet. I have not heavily tested the waterproofing, but it has rubbed up against water containers with a lot of condensation and sat out overnight with heavy dew on it and there were no issues with dampness inside. I don't think it will, but if this bag fails, I'd probably buy it again for the price.

Superlight, but not super cheap
In the category of "you get what you pay for," I am hoping that these stand the test of time. They are very light, and seem a bit thicker/more durable than some others that I have purchased. But make no mistake, they are still very light! The one issue I have - and I would have deducted 1/2 a star but I can't do that - is that the rigid strip that is part of the roll top closure is folded when you get it. I think this is for packaging purposes, but it seems to be unfixable - in other words, you can't "fold it back" to be totally straight. I don't think this affects the quality, usability, or waterproofness of the sacks, but it is a little odd. There must be another way to roll the bags for packing/shipping/selling that doesn't involve bending the strip in 1/2? Again, not a functional issue, but kind of a cosmetic issue, but kind of a logistics issue...I would still consider buying again, but they certainly are not cheap!

Keeps my items dry on the boat!
I bought this to keep my personal items dry while on a scuba diving boat. This works really well and is a great size for me to fit my things! The only downside is if I don’t bring a bag to put this in, it can become a bit cumbersome to carry on its own. I bought this knowing it didn’t have backpack straps so I can’t knock this product for being exactly what it is advertised to be - thus still 5 stars. I’ve attached a carabiner to help with carrying, and it is great stashed in a tote bag or backpack.

Great for Backpackers
This is one of several waterproof sacks that I own. It is definitely the lightest in terms of fabric. This would be a good sack for a backpacker where every ounce matters. For my use which is off roading, it is a little thin and may get punctured. I will probably go with a heavier fabric bag in the future, but this one will see use in a place that will not get rough service. One star off for thin fabric, but then it did say Ultralight, so this may be unfair.

Looks well made and reasonably robust to hold soft items. A good shape to pack clothes in and easy to roll and clip closed to seal up. Tabs helpful when packing and unpacking rucksack. No rain on recent 4 day hike so not fully tested.

Was anticipating a 1000% waterproof bag, it's not. lightweight yes, but wonder about the reliability verses and plastic/ carrier bag

Three years back, I snagged my first one. Fast forward to today and I've amassed a collection of 12 in various colours and sizes. These babies have been tried and tested on every adventure imaginable from land adventures like hiking and climbing to adventures on the water like sailing and kayaking among others. Let me break it down for ya. What I Love About Them: Lightweight: These sacks are incredibly light, perfect for carrying gear without adding weight to your load. Rectangular Shape: Their flat-bottomed, rectangular shape makes packing a breeze. These bags double as an extra layer of protection, almost like an additional packing cube, keeping my stuff organized. User-Friendly Design: With a top strip that's narrower than average and easy to roll over three times before clipping shut, it's hassle-free. Unlike many dry bags, it isn’t nearly as tall and narrow, instead, it utilizes a wider opening and shorter stature making finding items inside less of a treasure hunt. Things to Keep in Mind: Not the Toughest: Admittedly, these bags aren't the most abrasion-resistant. When used alone, they're prone to wear and tear. A small hole popped through the bottom of one of mine while I was exploring some Croatian Islands and even though the ripstop nature of the fabric prevented this hole from getting larger, the damage was already done. However, that was on me as they are not meant to be used as standalone protection and when part of an internal packing system, they're golden and last for years. Waterproof but Not Submersion-Proof: While not recommended for full submersion, these Ultralight bags perform impressively against rain. I once submerged one in the ocean, the contents weren't completely dry but far from drenched. In a Nutshell: Reasonably priced, these sacks offer plenty of space and hassle-free use. If you want great protection for sensitive items within your bag, the Ultralight has got you covered. But if you’re in the market for rugged toughness, these may not be your best bet. However, for rainy backpacking trips or as a safeguard for essentials, they are excellent.
