Trying this brand for the first time after my Arcadia emitter died within a few months of use. So far so good, well made. Using on a PP stat and measured with a laser temp gun it’s holding a stable temperature.

Does the job perfectly.heats up my four foot viv really well no problems at all.best price on the net too..my snake is happy and so am I!

Thought I would pay the extra and get a long lasting heat lamp for my snake. Got home this evening and his alarm is going off due to low temperature, checked and the lamp has failed - I bought it in Oct so its lasted 2 and a bit months, my last one which was cheaper lasted nearly 5 years!!! 2 months is unacceptable for a product costing this much. Very disapointed and now so close to christmas Im in a panic to get a replacement.

Very good at heating the whole vivarium but very poor at heating a specific area like a spot lamp. I have a 6x3ft viv and have a lot of trouble creating a "cool" end using one of these with regular spot lamps. The heat just emits all over the viv and creates an equal ambient temperature everywhere.
