The interface is easy to navigate and the organization of components simplifies finding the right function to use. I previously came from using a $30 quick scanner, which after using the x431 find out it only detected some faults. This appears detects them all. I initially used this tool to help me diagnose an EVAP issue. After performing a smoke test and determining no leaks, I used the x431 to test actuators in the system and it helped figure out the problem was a vent valve. I replaced it and no more engine codes. I haven’t used all the features/functions, but I can see this is going to be a great tool to diagnose problems and save trips & money by going to an auto mechanic shop.

I am happy with the purchase as I bought another like brand only to discover that it had no speakers. Can't watch repair videos without speakers. I returned it and bought this one. Pretty easy setup but I found that it will not connect to my printer. It seems to require you to buy their printer. Seems senseless to me but to each their own. I replaced my Ecu on my truck and just a week or so ago the other scanner did not detect a failing pressure sensor in my transmission but this one did. I am impressed with it's performance and it comes with a VCI and bluetooth.
