I asked a friend who installs broken glass for a living to replace mine (over 100 + successful replaces), but he could not figure it out. We could feel/hear my phone receiving calls and texts, but the screen would not turn on. Had to go get a whole new phone because taking off the original screen independently voided my current contract. Completely fair, but I should have kept the broken screen for a few more weeks until the contract was up!

DO NOT BUY THIS! This kit is a joke. There aren't even any instructions and the new one does not match the existing components on the phone. We are going to have to return it and try something else! Super frustrating and a waste of time.
