Absolutely. My ghost shrimp even nibble on the ones the fish didn't get to first and they are alive and well.

It's not necessary to remove your carbon filter when feeding HexSHIELD

Q: Is this food safe for wrasses?

Hex Shield is safe for all freshwater and salt water fish. To be certain though, I would contact the company (New Life Spectrum). They have always been very helpful every time I contacted them. Some fish are sensitive to medications. I have no idea if wrasses are sensitive to the active ingredients (the medication that is in this food): Magnesium Sulfate, IH-Imidazole-I-ethanol, 2-methyl-5-nitro-(443-48-1)

My betta was not interested

Bought this for my sick betta as it is meant to help with illness. Unfortunately he wasn't interested and after trying it for a few days I've had to give up. Didn't make him any better either. I felt the pellets were a bit big for him and he is quite a big fish.
