Q: What makes them sustainable?

By using crop-waste in making these products we prevent crop-burning & reduce use of fossil-based plastics. They are very durable & recyclable after extensive use. They reduce CO2 emissions & conserve resources, thereby supporting circular economy.

Q: Are they safe for hot serving?

TUV has certified the biocomposites material used to make the products as per US FDA and Europe standards at temperatures up-to 100 Deg C. Usually, temperature of food & beverage at the time of serving is about 85 Deg C.

Q: Are they safe for microwave?

The biocomposites materials used to make the products are certified safe by TUV for microwave appliance as per European standard. We recommend the use of microwave for reheat only &, not to use microwave continuously for more than 1 min.

Q: Do they contain plastic?

They are made with our proprietary biocomposite materials. Biocomposites are blend of natural fibers & polypropylene, which is extensively used in healthcare & food industry. They are free from BPA, Pthalates, styrene, melamine & PFAS.

Q: How are different colors made?

Coffee, tortilla, sandcastle and charcoal colors are derived naturally from coffee husk, rice husk, bamboo and charcoal respectively. All other colors are made with suitable color pigments.
