works great
Works great for having a constant temperature for my kitchen spray. I have it set at 38C to wash pots, pans and the sink. I bought the connecting parts at local Home Depot, so no problem there. Installation was done by professional and was pretty quick. Happy customer!

Easy to assemble
Worked just as expected. Used under kitchen sink to cool down a added remote hot water heater.

Bottom line - well worth the price. Minus 1 star for thread issues mentioned in other reviews
Wanted to chime in on the reviews - complaints aside, this is an excellent valve for the price.Do the threads leak? Yes - if you install fittings onto this mixing valve and wrap it with Teflon tape the way you normally would, chances are that it will leak. Two of the three connections on mine leaked. Is it insurmountable? No - wrap with Teflon tape a bit heavier (5-6 wraps total) toward the beginning (inlet/opening) of the threads, trim off excess that laps over the end (so you don't clog your screens/fittings, and try again. Not wanting to attempt a third install, I did the above and also added a bit of thread sealant to the female fittings. It's been functioning excellently for the past three weeks. Also, NOTE - I had to two-wrench tighten this significantly more than I would typical fittings.Bottom line, the next comparable mixing valve is over 3x the cost - play with your taping and/or sealant a bit and this will serve well.Update - 3 months later, still going strong, no leaks, this is a solid and responsive valve.

Very Satisfied. NO thread issues!
I used this for bidet water. I put it in line with the toilet flush water in the basement, and it also prevents condensation on the flusher tank. The water temperature adjusts very quickly to the right temperature. it appears it uses hot water as long as it is colder than the set temperature, and then starts adding cold water immediately so I didn't feel any hot water coming.First of all, the issues people have with threads are pointless. You need to study on BSPP threads and I recommend this video: https://youtu.be/aXqGrWUkJ1s?t=3m27s . Basically, you need an adapter WITH A SPECIAL WASHER that SITS OUTSIDE the fitting. I purchased 3 Female BSPP to MNPT adapters that come with the special washers with amazing results: http://a.co/a0lulcj .What I could find was that this valve does not have a built-in check valve. I don't know if it provides an equivalent functionality, but I put check valves on both inputs just in case. These come with built in strainers on both inputs. One issue I realized was that I may need to open these once a year to clear out the debris and that mean undoing the plumbing work. I put two inline strainers on the input lines with easy cleanup: http://a.co/0SRiJKl , Use these at your own risk. I also put two shut off valves very close to the strainers.I will update this review with any issues I may see with this setup in the long run.

Temp control valve
Several persons complained that the fittings were strange. They are a typical sink fitting. All you need is the same hose that you would use to connect your sink to the shutoff valve. I soldered the valves to the pipe, attached the hoses to the valves, and it worked very well.
