Maplin Yoga USB 2.0 Podcast and Vocal Microphone Volume Control Recording Base Stand

I absolutely love this microphone and am now using it for my Youtube and livestreams on twitch. The sound playback is of a great clear vocal quality and the only background noise which is picked up is my Pc fans when they are on full speed setting, I was actually slightly nervous to if this mic was good or not with 1 review been 5 and the other a measly 1 so was a gamble to be honest but I thought id clear that up and write a review myself, the mic is best picked up from the front though so don't expect to talk into the mic from any angle. I currently have a pop filter in front of mine and it work superbly, the fact this mic is just a plug in and play once you set the mic to default in the settings of pc, it just works, the only thing you need to adjust on the mic its self is the volume up to max and if still no sound or little of it, check the pc settings on the mic volume as it may be turned down. I honestly dunno why there isn't any more reviews on this mic as it works great for commentaries, I have yet to try it for music recording so I may try that and add to this review.Positives+ It looks professional+ Sound quality is perfect+ Easy to set up and plug in and playNegatives- I will add to this section if I find any issues but currently there is noneOver all I am certainly happy with this item, also if you want to find out the sound quality I will be posting a review of it on my youtube channel very soon,Username : talbotdreamOfficialJust to clear something up though, on this picture it says yoga and the one I received says ProSound so don't panic if you notice this as it is just a re-brand of the same microphone :)

I was disappointed with this microphone (sounds quality wasn't great) I returned it and purchased a Samson Meteor which was well worth the extra money.

It is a good microphone, once you use it the proper way, in the picture it shows you have to use it that way, when in fact, you need to twist it so "Yoga" is aiming towards you and then you speak into it, on this is DOES NOT instruct you to do that :/

A great start-up microphone that is so easy to set-up by simply clicking into the USB port of my laptop. Absolutely loving the quality as I carry out YouTube and Facebook live tutorials.

Too much noise - did not work on my laptop. Returning it to Maplin. It is cheap for a reason!

If you're on a budget, this microphone is fantastic for all your recording needs - the quality isn't the best, but to get significantly better quality audio then you'd have to heavily invest. I'd recommend this only if you have a way to combat background noise as it can be sensitive at times and record audio from unwanted sources.

I bought this from a maplin store a number of weeks ago and according to people i often voice chat with, the mic often starts making very loud and intermittent buzzing sounds. i wouldnt recommend it, as the blue snowball is a better, more reliable microphone for £10 more

To be honest, I was very skeptical about this product,Bought 4 pcs for my podcast station and hoped for the best ...They did arrive a day late, but it was worth the wait,It looks and feels extremely professional, the voice capturing quality is excellent, and the cable is relatively long compared to other products (which is a good thing),
