Honest Beauty 3Step Skin Regimen to Clear Acne Regimen Kit, 1 Count

When I first heard about this product I was skeptical of trying it because it seems like every celebrity these days has a “miracle” solution for skincare. Even more so once I saw how low it was rated. Then I started reading the reviews. So first off, I’ve been treated unsuccessfully for acne ever since puberty and I am now 30. Between oral medications some as strong as Accutane and topical ones I have found none that actually took care of all the acne completely. Accutane was the closest one but that only cleared my skin for a couple of years before the acne was back for more. The point being I know the struggles of using acne treatments that don’t work and also the stages of acne treatment. First of all if you are looking for something to clear your acne completely without it being drying, good luck. Second following instructions to skincare products is essential to improving their likelihood of being effective, these products warn that they may be very drying so it is important to moisturize consistently. Second anytime that you start a new acne treatment your acne will become worse as the skin begins to purge impurities , so don’t expect to have clear skin overnight. Third most dermatologists recommend treatment for at least one month to really see its effects. All that being said here’s my experience with this product so far: is it drying ? Yes it is, but if you follow the instructions to apply the mosturizer as needed or to decrease how often you use the products it does really help. I’ve been using the product for exactly two weeks now and have started to see a lot of my acne scars fade which usually doesn’t happen for me until months of treatment due to the pigment of my skin. My cystic acne has started to clear tremendously so no new breaks outs so far. Skin texture is not soft yet as I am now starting to purge blackheads ( sorry gross but that’s acne for you) I’ve started to counter this by lightly exfoliating once a week just to help the process along. When I say light exfoliation I mean very very very light as my skin is still a little sensitive from some of the dryness. But this is improving! The product is definitely one that a little goes a long way. For the night treatment I use a pearl size amount of product for my entire face and it’s more than enough so don’t over do it. The facial cleanser is great but make sure to avoid your eye area, again a little goes a long way. It does not suds up a lot so don’t expect for it to be super foamy. The moisturizer is light and does not feel greasy. As far as fragrance they have a very light barely there fragrance that is pleasant but not overpowering. Packaging I thought was really informative, it tells you the stages of treatment as well as what to expect and how and when to use each product. My favorite part, price! If you don’t overuse the product it should last you about a month if not a little more so definitely a great deal considering most acne treatments like this want an arm and a leg just for a months supply. Overall very pleased with this product cant wait to see how my face will look I’m the next two weeks.

I have been using this product for over a month now and I have noticed a difference in the way my skin looks. I didn't have really bad acne before just some occasional breakout and tiny pimples on my forehead and around my face. I wanted to try this kit since the ingredients are a lot cleaner. Many reviews mention how this product is drying and I do agree. The cleanser leaves your skin dry after so you need to moisturize. I think the moisturizer in the kit is good but not the best it isn't as thick and hydrating as I need since I have very dry skin. I find myself mixing it with a face oil or hydrating concentrate. My pimples on my forehead and other parts of my face are gone so it definitely helped to get rid of that stubborn acne. I think these products work great but if you have dry skin you would need to use an additional few products, which I don't mind because that is already a part of my daily routine. But if you have dry skin and are looking for an all in one kit this wouldn't be it. I think trying it out in these small travel sized containers is the best so you can see how it reacts to your skin before committing to buying full sized products!

This is a great product! I read like 50 reviews before I purchase anything , but rest assure this stuff works. My face was a mess from stress and scaring and I noticed a difference in the first week. It will dry you out so be sure to moisturize a few times daily with the one provided . Great product and smaller clean nothing is too strong. The only thing I’d change is the size , I thought the product would have more but this is like a travel size .

Great product. I think the bigger size would be more beneficial but the daily lotion is a great moisturizer. Nothing is sticky, it has almost no smell, it goes on well and hydrates wonderfully. The face wash also cleaned off my make up!

I absolutely love these products. I have felt like I had to pick between anti-aging and clearing products in the past. I started breaking out terribly about 6 months ago and I heard about these products. The work so well- my skin has been clear ever since and the ant-aging part of it is working so well too. I highly recommend!!

Burned my face! I don’t usually write negative reviews but this one was scary. I have sensitive skin and thought the honest beauty skin care line would be gentle. After the first wash I noticed my skin was really red when I dried it with a towel but I didn’t think much of it. After the second or third time using it I had to call it quits. I felt like it burnt and dried out my entire face. My skin was so red like I was in the sun all day, I started to get dry patches all over, and my face hurt to even touch. It was so painful and scary. I’ve never had a reaction like this to any other skin care. It took 2 weeks to heal and I never used any of the products again. Be careful.

I typically enjoy honest beauty products but I did not find any of these products to be helpful unfortunately. Stay away if you have dry skin, I tried gradually introducing this set into my routine but it was too drying. Anytime I would use the cleanser my skin felt dry afterward. I don’t think the retinol treatment did anything and it felt like the moisturizer was breaking me out a little. If you have very oily acne prone skin the cleanser might be worth a try.

I have breakouts all the time. I have never found a moisturizer that worked with my skin. They have always made me breakout more. This goes on great and helps decrease breakouts. My skin feels great.
