I wanted something relatively cheap n cheerful in order to carry out monthly FECs for livestock, to save on vet bills and this microscope has been perfect for the job. Simple to use, sturdy, good image quality.

Good quality, clear focus and a good lovely of magnification for a rango of simples.Nice handle to move and carry it.Well packagedI read many reviews before choosing this microscope - I am not disappointed!

Works really well very interesting

The media could not be loaded.  We decided to get the microscope for the kids and ended up not giving them a chance to use it 🤣Although it comes with samples to look at, like an insect leg, onion skin, etc.We just couldn't help throwing leaves on the glass to look at as well as hair, apple, dust, egg, sugar, and anything we could think of.The lenses are x4, x10, and x 40 with a bright light and multiple colours to see through.This device is strong as long as you are careful with the little pieces of glass and gentle.Love it, going to go use it now as a matter of fact.I've been watching cheese for the past 3 days, lol

I recently ordered this microscope and here are my impressions:This microscope offers a notable level of image quality with the included magnification, the clarity is honestly impressive for the price point and will pique the interest of kids.One of the great aspects of this microscope is the inclusion of 5 pre-prepared slides and an additional 5 slides for you to create your own. Having these premade slides so you can jump right in, makes it an excellent choice for educational purposes. Having 5 slides included means you can start right away to prepare your specimens.The microscope also impresses with its lighting. The quality of light is vital when examining specimens, and this model does not disappoint in that regard. The illumination is even and bright, ensuring you can observe your samples clearly.In conclusion, this microscope offers some noteworthy features that make it a decent choice for educational use. The image quality, slide options, and lighting all contribute to a valuable tool for a starting point.

The microscope arrives in a sturdy box inside another sturdy box. Inside, the actual microscope is encased inside some egg-type container boxes.Inside the box apart from the microscope are two lenses, a small cloth, a box of slides, a mobile phone attachment and a user manual. The user manual looks large but it’s because it’s in English, German, French, Spanish and Italian.It explains the basic usage, of the eyepiece and how to place and carry the entire thing. It also explains how to create a slide. It’s a shame there are no pictures, as this would help all users (adults and children) to grasp how to prepare them if they never have in the past.The eyepieces don't come with any lens cap to protect them, which is not good as these need to be kept scratch free. I know there are little bags but over time these will be lost.It states in the manual that it requires an external power supply, but there isn't a lead or anything. It’s actually battery operated, which sadly are not included. The compartment is opened with a cross-head screwdriver, and three AA batteries are needed.The feet would have been nice to have rubber ends, as placing on a wooden surface like a desk, it can slide, whereas rubber would ensure it stays in one place, so maybe use a rubber mat.The actual slides are good in the fact that you can understand how structures work; I understand this is for children, and not for a laboratory, so this is a beginners microscope to get children to learn about structures and science.
