This door is nicely built. It has some shine to it but it could be painted if needed.

The cover was simple to install and is made of steel so that it lasts.
The cover was simple to install, I measured the opening, added a 1/8 inch, put the measurements on the wall next to a stud, and cut out with my multi tool which cuts clean and accurate. I added plywood strips to the backside of the sheetrock to strengthen. It feels sturdy and should hold up for years. I feel that I made the right choice over the plastic inserts. I would buy another one if I need another access point for plumbing.
