I bought a smoke alarm with these disks included with the screws and plugs as an optional way of attaching the alarm to the ceiling.They're excellent. Secure attachment but you can pull them off easily for cleaning /battery replacement. I bought another alarm that didn't have them included, so I bought these.

I'll be honest, I didn't hold out much hope for these and assumed that my smoke alarms would be crashing to the ground every couple of days, however this hasn't been the case at all. I've had them for 7 months so far and they haven't budged in all that time. Really handy if you don't want to drill holes for your smoke alarm.

After a bit of a hiccup first time & alarm fell down its now been up for a couple of weeks & all seems fine. So much easier than drilling holes. Definitely fit for purpose.

TOTALLY satisfied with this purchase. Like you, I read all the reviews, and was worried about the bad ones. But this product really works. You get 3 pairs of discs stuck together, each has a peel-off backing to protect the adhesive. One metal disc has two powerful magnets glued to it.I attached one to a slightly textured ceiling and it stuck perfectly. The other was a perfect fit to the Eve Smoke Alarm (also a recommendation, link it to your Apple Home app). I put the one with the magnets on the smoke alarm but it doesn't matter which you stick it to.After 6 months there has been perfect adhesion, but it is easy to remove the alarm if needed for cleaning etc.The other 2 pairs of discs are backup for if I need to buy a new alarm in the future.

No complaints about this product. Once applied as per instructions I left them for 24 hours before applying detector and six months later it is still in place. Bearing in mind it is fixed tio a patterned artex ceiling I think even more impressive. Would recommend.

I have been using this magnetic pads for a long time. They last very long and attach to the smoke alarm with great ease. A very clever idea which avoids drilling and holes on the ceilings and walls.

Great idea but glue them on with super glue the adhesive dries out after a couple of months and they drop off the walls

Bought when new laws came into effect in Scotland regarding smoke alarms. These are brilliant, quick to install and good adhesion.

This product is a great! For years I would dread changing the smoke alarm battery on 9+ foot vaulted ceiling. I used a telescoping light bulb changer to install the plate and new alarm w/ a 10 year battery. Clean the spot first to ensure the adhesive will stick.

Nous étions sceptiques à acheter cet objet qui était tout simplement proposé à l'achat lorsque nous avons acheté notre détecteur de fumée.Pour le coup, nous avons été bluffés.- Rien de plus simple : un aimant sur le détecteur, un aimant sur le mur, et le travail est fait.- Les aimants sont vraiment de très bonne qualité, et la partie collante également : je n'ai absolument pas peur que quoi que ce soit se détache et tombe.- Pas de trous ! Et un petit rond en métal "design" : si jamais on veut enlever le détecteur du mur, je ne trouve pas que laisser le rond en métal soit choquant. Je trouve ça bien mieux que le socle en plastique vide vissé que je vois parfois dans des appartements.Je recommande fortement !
