Very happy that this worked for me because I had so many vacuum upholstery brushes that I couldn’t use. If anyone’s interested, it fit on my Silver King vacuum which is close to 50 years old. I had to remove one of the adapter parts and it fit perfectly.

This is a great adapter for attaching common Horsehair brush heads to the Bissell Power Groom canister vacuum. We got a great deal on our Bissell power groom but we’re upset to find that it didn’t have a basic floor brush for our hardwood floors, and that the Amazon recommended brushes didn’t fit once we bought them. This fixed the problem! Pros: - Simple and Easy to attach to both vacuum and brush attachment Pro & Con (your preference) - It’s a very tight fit on the vacuum wand itself. For us, this is convenient because we don’t want to take it off. However, if you wanted to switch to different attachments (that don’t require the adapter) the right fit could be an issue.

Based on the "nominal" size measurements, I was uncertain whether this adapter would allow me to use my 1-1/4" attachments on my new Shark Rocket. But it does works, and it works well. [NOTE: See addendum below] The large end if the adapter has an inside diameter of ~1-3/8" ( ~35 mm), which fits OVER the end of the Shark inlet nozzle. (If you're a stickler for details, the Shark inlet has an OD that seems slightly too small, at ~33 mm. HOWEVER, the trick is that there are some rings on the INSIDE of this adapter, which makes the ID slightly smaller, and a perfect fit onto the Shark components... Stays on snugly, but easy to remove. The small end of the adapter has an OD of 1-3/16" (31 mm), which again seems slightly too small for 1-1/4" attachments; HOWEVER, it's slightly conical (gets wider further down) which allows it to fit snugly on the inside of my 1-1/4" attachments. Possibliy this is Too Much Information for some people... but IF I could have seen an explanation like this, it would have made my selection a lot easier! So thanks, me! Better late than never. ADDENDUM TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW: As I have used the Adapter more, it no longer holds the attachments as securely as it did originally. I've been able to remedy this by adding a layer of 2" width cellophane packing tape to the smaller diameter end of the adapter to increase its OD slightly. HOWEVER, it's hard to do this elegantly, as owing to the conical shape, the tape tends to form wrinkles. I just did the best I could to minimize wrinkles, and now the attachments are holding better. It's possible that two individual bands of 3/4" tape would work better. (Note: use cellophane, and not the disappearing tape, which is not as thick.) I feel the adapter could have been made with slightly larger diameter to fit tighter. Accordingly, I've subtracted one star, to give it 4.

Was working well, but since has cracked in multiple places, without anything harm other than rare normal usage. Now I can use my traditional crevice tool and brush from the old vacuum cleaner with my Shark vacuum cleaner. Traditional vacuums use 1 1/4” size attachments, but shark uses 1 3/8”, so this product solves that problem. I believe this is the case for all Sharks. 1 found the provided Shark dual crevice tool and brush kind of cheaply made (not enough bristles on the brush). Problem solved. Well made, small and simple. (I also bought a short hose directly from Shark so I can use the brush to clean in awkward areas such as the car.)

This adapter allows me to use my Shop Vac and other standard 1-1/4" accessories with my Shark vacuum.

This did not work out for me and I am returning. Just so you know, this is the tiny, tiniest adaptor I have seen. It's fits into one half of your palm! I am sure it will work for others, but it did NOT fit the hoses I have -- even though I measured carefully.

I lost the attachments for my Shark LZ601 and purchased the GIBTOOL Vacuum Accessories for 1 1/4 in & 1 3/8 in Standard Hose (not realizing that the GIBTOOL kit already came with an adapter that would have worked for me LOL), but anyway, this EZ Spares adapter works perfectly! It fits over the nose of my Shark's hose and inside the accessories. Feels thick and high quality. Suction was plenty adequate for my needs. Would recommend! But check your accessories for an adapter first! Haha.

Did not fit my new Shark Rotator. It fit the attachment from my old Panasonic vacuum but did not fit the attachment to the Shark. And I measured it before I ordered. A waste of money.

I purchased this thinking that it would fit the hose and attachments of a Dyson DC-01. I must have made a mistake with my measurements, because it isn't designed for that product. The item was delivered swiftly and is as described.

why would manufacturers need to adopt different hose size for their small vacuums? just how many attachments does a person need? this simple adapter lets me use all my old attachments on my new vacuum which did not actually come with the equivalents i enjoyed previously. fits perfectly.

Finally! An adapter that perfectly fits the Shark Rocket! It’s a bit loose for the the horsehair brush that I ordered but with a few rows of masking tape around the adapter it makes a tight fit when I slide on the brush. This isn’t a problem with the adapter. The issue is with the larger brush that I ordered separately a long time ago hoping it would fit the vacuum directly, but it didn’t. Have been looking for a solution ever since and this adapter is excellent!

Product does the job but quality is average for price.

Measurements are off, so it didn't fit.
