I needed a craft for a Christmas party and these were perfect. The kids loved them and had lots of fun making their own ornaments.

Fun craft! Both the littles and the adults enjoyed it. For the adults, it brought back memories of making these as kids in the 80s.

Though I'd really beg to differ about this being a kid friendly craft (maybe a nearly teenaged kid) because of how tiny some of the beads are and how difficult it is to get them on the wire, the quality is excellent and the finished product is gorgeous. Definitely something I as an adult would do again, but not something I'd try to get my 6.5 year old to do with me because of how tedious and frustrating the process was for him.

I bought theses for a classroom project, but the pieces were too small for the students. I would not recommend or buy again.

Instructions weren't clear for kids.Multiple broken beads and seemed like cheaper quality.Metal for snowflakes bent very easily and the way you attach them to the ribbon was not very secure.Candycanes are hung upside down in the instructions.I might suggest a small tray to set beads in so they don't roll away.Okay for just a fun project. Wouldn't recommend for gifts.

We had fun making these ornaments with a group, but it was a lot of prep work, as we separated everything needed for each ornament into individual bags. Just be ready & give yourselftimeto prep it. Also, get some extra red pipe cleaners. The ones that came with it were really cheap and the ends mangled easily, so they wouldn't go thru the beads. The star is really nice, but more difficult - definitely for older kids with more control.
