How much Gaviscon Original is too much?

If you take too much Gaviscon it is unlikely to cause you much harm although you may feel bloated. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if this feeling does not go away. Always read the information in the patient information leaflet.

What are the side effects?

Side effects are very rarely reported. If you do experience any side effects they are highly likely to be mild and to go away when you stop taking it. Speak to your doctor if you experience constipation, diarrhoea, nausea, stomach cramps or vomiting.

Why, as a pregnant mother, am I suffering from heartburn and indigestion?

It’s very common. In fact up to 80% of expectant mothers get these symptoms at one stage or another. Your growing bump, alongside the hormonal changes happening in your body, make it a common occurrence.
