I don't think so. You need FlySky to FlySky or Spectrum to Spectrum.

Any thoughts on using it to control a combat bot?

Flysky FS-i6X RC transmitter with FS-iA6B receiver, can support PWM /PPM /s.bus /i.bus. [Default output PWM, PPM /s.bus /i.bus set the output through the transmitter menu]

will this work with an rc plane?

Yes this will work for rc airplanes also works with quadcopters or even helicopters , if you wanted you could even use in rc cars and boats it is sold as a 6 channel but is actually a 10 channel you just need to go into the menu and activate them very easy to do receivers are very affordable as well.

Will this work for a pixhawk 4 board?

yes it will but the range is limited on the tx, for pixhawk I would look for something like the taranis, or radiomaster as they have long range.
