SAND MINE Wooden Advent Calendar with 25 Drawers, Countdown to Christmas, Refillable Wooden Advent, Red

Very well made and sturdy, especially for the price. I purchased a few varieties of advents and though they were all great this one stood out. The knobs are not just glued on, they have a peg and the peg is glued into a hole, very secure. There are some slight imperfections and the drawers fit just so, but seriously, this was $26.00, is real wood, beautifully painted and has 25 opening drawers. I originally was going to hand make advents but quickly realized it would be more expensive and WAY , WAY more work. I embellished the Santa scene with lights and personalized a tag on the present with my granddaughters name. I cut down a card box I had on hand and hot glued it to the back to hold the light switch, extra batteries and a mini screwdriver necessary to install the batteries. I also signed and dated the back in metallic gold so it can be an heirloom (see photos). The drawers are very small but I was able to fit Lego mini figure sets, small candy bars, other fun size candies, and carefully chosen mini toys. I totally recommend it!

This is a really cute advent calendar and I was looking forward to sharing it with my family today ( Dec 1st) but when I opened it up, both roof ends were snapped off. The decorative Santa, reindeer and tree all were broken off by the little insert tab where it was originally glued so no way to even begin repairing it. I returned the item and got a full refund but ultimately very disappointed.

I love this design, very cute and the drawers seem sturdy. HOWEVER the one flaw is the way it is packaged and arrived. It is shrink wrapped in plastic and comes in a tight flimsy box. The first one I received, the edge of the roof was crushed. Returned it for a replacement and that one had damage (crushed) on both ends of the roof.

What a wonderful surprise when I opened the box! It is festive, beautiful and sturdy! My granddaughters are going to love opening the little drawers and getting their surprise treat! Highly recommend it!

Be prepared to do a lot of gluing on the little drawer handles. They aren’t very durable. Otherwise I really like the product

Very cute advent calendar, however it looked like it was drug behind the truck, the box was nearly demolished. The item itself had the chimney knocked off and the drawer pulls on several drawers had fallen out. The eaves on one side were bent , nearly broke, a bottle of glue and all is well 😃

It was a great add on to my family christmas. But you can only fit really small things on it.

This is a cute advent calendar and well worth the price if it weren’t damaged. I ordered this before Christmas as a gift and right roof was damaged where the outer box was crushed and torn. I liked it enough to ask for a replacement that arrived today. The box and calendar is damaged in the exact manner and spot as the first one. Too bad it is cute.
