If your going to spend this much money on a kit get the legitimate coil masters kit as that's what I thought this was until I recieved it. yes it does work and serve its purpose but scissors are plastic and don't even cut the cotton the lethal wire is straight garbage from China, the coil jig has a weird slot in it that is not in the coil masters one that gets in the way. Honestly I would not purchase again and would recommend anyone to buy an origional coil masters version for the same price it even says 521 mini on the ohm tester like the coil masters one very misleading product

I bought this kit mainly for the scissors and the coil wrapping tool. They looked very nice in the pictures. The quality of nearly everything in this kit is very poor. The threads on the coiling tool are nearly cross threaded and very rough, the scissors appeared to be fully metal and are in fact plastic aside from the blades, the pliers are already rusted and I just got this today, the wire cutters might be good for 36-40g wire, the 45* tweezers have burrs and sound crunchy when you pinch them. If you need a nice set of ceramic tweezers and a hex head triple tree with a giant torx screw on it then you might be happy because those seem to be the only two things in this kit that have any sort of quality in mind when put together.

Really nice set of tools. Great quality BUT.. how does it work? I basically bought a nice set of pliers, tweezers, and a coil tester... would be cool if there was a instructional video or little book.. Hell I’d settle for a peice of paper. The product info on the amazon site shows a little bit for the most part is missing a lot of key info. Great product - Great materials used in making it - I just don’t know how to use it properly. Get me instructions and I’ll get you 2 more stars.

The actual product itself is great, the one star is for the false advertisement in the title of the item. The kit comes with the 521 tab mini v1 not the v2.
