We have a pug, so of course we had to get this for my 5-year-old son. While we haven't taken it trick-or-treating yet, he has tried it on 3 times and it's very cute. The fan works as expected. I think it will challenging for him to walk up stairs or walk briskly, but it's 100% worth it. I will likely have to tie the "reins" around his neck to keep the pug's front legs from dragging on the ground, but not a big deal.

My sister has a blast with this costume and got lots of compliments on it as well!

The first one the motor didn’t work. They sent me a new one right away and then I sent back the broken one. The kiddo loved it. Though as with any of these types of costumes they make it difficult to go trick or treating.

I got this for my 6 year old and we liked it a lot. We live in MI and our trick or treating is hit or miss (mainly miss) weather wise. It was freezing, and my son got to wear his winter coat without the costume looking weird. We used Duracell, and it drained the batteries though. Like one use and it didn’t work anymore, draining. It was good for the day, but I wont use it again because of how fast it depleted the batteries.

10 Stars for this costume! Such a huge hit - so many compliments. This was the 2nd inflatable "riding a dog" costume I purchased for my 6 y/o. The quality and durability of this one was so much better. My son is somewhat tall for his age, so unfortunately he probably won't get another wear out of the size 4-6, but it was great for this year. However, he would have had a TOUGH time maneuvering in a larger costume, especially navigating up and down front stoop steps while trick or treating. At this age though, no complaints about something slowing him down just a tad lol. Highly recommend!

The product works, and is very cute. However, it’s hard to walk in and unsustainable for a small child to use for Halloween. Ended up going without it.

UPDATE TO REVIEW: after my initial review the company contacted me in an email and offered a refund, which I gladly accepted. still waiting for it to process and bounce back to my account but i like to give credit where credit is due. all too often we complain but rarely do we give a compliment. I would order from them in the future for that reason only ( the customer service response that was quick), if the business is willing to make it right , then why not?Check that all parts to the fan are there. There's a plastic ring that holds the fan onto the costume, mine was missing and the fan wouldn't stay in the hole provided. I understand it's manufacturing default .. the ring just didn't get put in our package, it was Halloween and we had to use a different costume, because this wouldn't stay inflated. Otherwise seemed well made .

Seems very cheaply made. Missing screw in the battery pack as well. Hard for my child to walk in.
