These are so practical. The drinking glasses I had before, the dishwasher left a white cloudy ring around the top of them. Nothing would get rid of the marks. I then did some research and found out that Duralex are toughened glass and highly resistant to chemical marking and etching, especially in the dishwasher. They are "grandchild-proof" glass. They are made of thick tempered glass that resists chipping, and if they do happen to drop on a hard floor, they are designed to shatter safely into blunt fragments rather than sharp shards. They are comfortable to hold and use and I am very pleased with them.

These glasses are fantastic. I have the same ones in a smaller version for last 7 years, in daily use. They don’t chip or dull from dishwasher use, they stack really well. Highly recommend.

We are a little bit clumsy and had broken a few of our smaller drinking glasses. I was looking for a nice, reasonably priced alternative and stumbled across these. I wondered if they would be "quite right" but took a chance and ordered. I am so glad I did. These glasses are lovely. They have a bit of a retro vibe and are the perfect size for orange juice in the morning, a soft drink with dinner or a spirit with mixer later in the evening. My hands get stiff these days but these glasses are easy to hold and the design seems to help with the grip. They wash up perfectly and while not being heavy the base feels solid and stable. They stack nicely (as long as you're not too heavy handed) too so take up a bit less room in the cupboard. Definitely recommend these and they'll get lots of use over Xmas too! *clink-clink* Cheers!!!

I really like these glasses and have used them for years, only reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is that on 2 separate occasions now one of the glasses has quite violently exploded while just sitting on my desk, I guess its something to do with the tension in the glass. They are shatterproof so explode into thousands of tiny squared off pieces but it really gets everywhere as the explosion throws the pieces easily across a room! The first time it happened I contacted the seller who sent me a replacement set free of charge but its now been over 3 years since I've had these and its only happened twice so I guess that's okay :P

Exactly the size I wanted. Excellent ‘Duralex’ durable, small n stackable, (160mil) glasses. Ideal for juices or a bedside drink. They have quite a ‘retro’ look. Very 50/60s appearance. One I personally remember! Very well packed and boxed.

I bought these primarily because I love a big latte, and they work supremely well for that purpose. But, they're such a nice glass, and such a good size, they've also become my go-to drining glass. I love the updated shape. It's reminiscent of the original, super-thick hex-walled latte glasses made by the same company, and that are familiar around the world, but they have a more refined shape. The slight bulge just below the lip of the glass sits wonderfully comfortably in your hand, and adds a modern twist to the original cafe glass. These are a thinner-walled glass than the original cafe glasses, which makes them lighter to carry - quite handy in this 500ml size, which is massive to hold. A really satisfying glass to use, and a classy upgrade on the classic style that's been around seemingly forever.

Quality glass that's strong (not thin) and break resistant at a good price. Easy to hold when wet with condensation from drinking cold drinks. Restaurant quality and style. Comes in a variety of sizes too.
