Acquired as a backup, its intended purpose of providing a fully charged replacement was compromised by its short lifespan. While usability and functionality are satisfactory, the insufficient battery life is a major drawback. Therefore, a definitive assessment of quality is difficult due to the premature depletion of the charge. However, the product offers good value for its price and is user-friendly. I do recommend the battery I just didn't get a good one.

It some how feels harder to screw into the original space. But works well. Get 3 to 4 days between charging so this is a good back up so I just swap it out.

original replacement battery (bought as an additional one), having an additional one lets you have a charged battery ready to go, so you can change the battery on one device, have the empty battery charged and move on to the second device and so on.

This is an amended review. I had a problem with a battery I purchased and then posted a cautionary review a few months later. I was not asking for a replacement because a lot of time had gone by. Ring reached out to me, sent me a replacement, and promised a tech would call at my convenience to help diagnose the problem. It turned out that the original battery was shipped with a defective charging cord. My batteries are charging fine. I love my ring devices, and I am so pleased with their products and customer service. Truly a Five Star company. Thank you.
