A Drawing a Day (An Activity A Day)

Extremely useful drawing book.
It is amazing that each page has easy instructions on how to draw different 'things' persons, insect animal, fish, seascape,s. as stated - 365 in all. All in beautiful colour, and all easy to follow. A wonderful book for a child or an adult to learn how to draw things - so that it isn't a problem to know how to draw things at school. -

Love it. Fun, educational and addictive.
This is an absolutely wonderful book. I bought my daughter this when was 4 she is now 5 and still uses it. It is one of those books that you just keep going back to now and then and it teaches you wonderful looking/copying skills as well as a few illustrations you can learn off pat and impress your friends with. I really enjoy doing these with my daughter too and we have even bought this book for a few of her school friends parties. My daughter likes ripping out her favourites (which easily detach) and making her own magazine with them.I definitely recommend this book.

Great idea, well-executed
Bought two of these as gifts. They have quick, simple drawing ideas on every page, and afterwards you can easily tear it out, put it up in pride of place, or just recycle it and move on to the next one. Really like the idea of children getting into the habit of having five minutes of down time a day just to doodle. The pictures are also accessible enough to be attempted by children of a fairly wide range. I'd say maybe 6-11, although younger children could definitely attempt it, and older children might enjoy them and could obviously add their own twist. Happy with them, thank you.

Easy to follow steps for any age, good quality, many different items to draw
This book has ideas for drawings in most every theme children might be interested in. Easy to follow steps, and easy to tear (by adults) paper. The paper is slightly thicker than printer paper so it's ok for pencils, crayons and pastels (/if you tear the picture straight away) but not all felt tips are good on it, you will see your lines on the other side of the paper which in turn will ruin half of the pages, also it has a drawing on each side of the pages meaning you can only display half of the pictures or if you tear one before doing the other side, the next design is gone. Overall it is a nice book with good ideas but for the reasons above I won't buy another one as gift.

Fun book
I really love this book and hoped it would engage my daughter; she likes it but isn't over excited about it. But that is her usual reaction so don't let that put you off: as an artist I think it could be very inspiring for young people and fun for any adult, much more creative than 'mindful colouring books' that have been so much in vogue these past years.I am having fun with it!
