⚡ Power smarter, not harder — PoE meets USB-C in one sleek splitter!
The UCTRONICS USB-C PoE Splitter converts IEEE 802.3at/af Power over Ethernet into a stable 5V/4A USB-C power supply with gigabit Ethernet data, ideal for Raspberry Pi 4 and other USB-C powered network devices. It reduces cable clutter by delivering power and network connectivity through a single Ethernet cable, supports higher power budgets than the official Pi PoE HAT, and requires a compatible PoE+ switch or injector for optimal performance.

Delivers stable power and network connection through a single Ethernet cable using standard 802.3af PoE. Compatible with Raspberry Pi 4 and other USB-C powered devices. Reduces cable clutter and works well in tight enclosures or remote setups. No overheating or signal drop during extended use. Ideal for low-power NAS setups or remote sensors where reliability matters. Plug and play with no extra configuration needed.

I have had no issues with this device, contrary to other reviews. Remember this is a 5V 4A (5x4=20W) so will need PoE+ 802.3at, as opposed to 802.3af which can only supply 15.4W This device powers RPI4 & RPI5 but unfortunately appears to be no longer available.

Well, this has been a lesson learned - research thoroughly. This is definitely a good product but unfortunately not a solution for my use case. I wanted to deliver both Ethernet and power to an iPad and ordered this following a session with chatGPT. I assumed that both power and Ethernet would be delivered through the usb connection but this device does not do that. I will probably find a use for it in my RPi world so I am not returning it. Conclusion - a good product but check your use case!

I have two of these and they don't work with my Raspberry Pi 4s When connected to a PoE source, but with the Pi powered independently, you can connect to the pi through the PoE adaptor, but when Pi powered by the adaptor, while the Pi boots fine, the network connection through the adaptor no longer works

Works fine. On the DC to USB cable, the DC portion doesn’t plug in all the way suggesting build quality is not high (a common problem with mixed DC parts). But I love that this allows me to use PoE while keeping my Pi4 in a case that otherwise would not fit a PoE hat. A PoE hat would also likely cause additional heat, which this avoids.
