We can’t have an actual bidet due to old sketchy piping in our apartment. This is the perfect alternative. Easy to use, easy to clean. No complaints.

Wow. What to say. This product was recommended to me from a friend who I can only categorize as an apostle of the MicroJet. A few pints into the night he asked me a question that would change my life: "Have you ever heard of a portable bidet?". Following this questions I was inundated with what can only be described as an avalanche of praise, accolades and commendations regarding this product. The pints, paired with well intentioned intimidation from this convert of the MicroJet made me order this on the spot. Arriving at my house the next day, I am ashamed to say I forgot I had ordered this, some 19 hours previous. My partner questioned the purchase, and I tried to recreate the sales pitch I had received the previous night but couldn't quite emulate the passion and confidence with which my friend (who at this point I began wondering might have some sort of financial stake in the Eko MicroJet) convinced me to order a portable bidet. Oh no, if I was going to stand behind this project, I had to try this myself. I had "pint and primed" as they say and I had to pay the potty piper. And boy am I glad I did. For $25, this product can change your life. Where to begin? It is an attractive design, easy to transport and makes the bidet experience affordable and accesible in your own home. I wish I could rate this product higher, but I can't. So all I can say, as a new convert of the MicroJet, go and get yourself one and spread the good word. You'll love the experience from start to finish. From top to "bottom"

I really like this Eko handheld bidet. I've tried a few of the primary options; Brondel leaks out of the hole in the base. Crazy to put a hole in the bottom of a bidet. Brondel also has a really small sprayer that doesn't allow thorough cleaning. Happypoo was fine, but off-balance because of the odd shape - the base is too slim so the weight easily gets top-heavy especially when it's full. I also had a no-name bidet that was great, but it only came in blue and I felt like blue was highlighting the bidet and the last thing anyone wants is to scream "look at my handheld bidet". This Eko is perfect. It doesn't leak, it doesn't fall over, and the gray is more inconspicuous. I do wish it came in white, transparent, or light gray, but dark gray serves the purpose well. Some of the positives in addition to the ones I mentioned are that the bottle top is wider making it easy to fill. It holds quite a bit of water so you don't have to fill it too often. The sprayer allows the perfect stream of water, it feels full enough to cover the area and firm enough to clean. The sprayer retracts into the bottle, this is great for storage and travel. I suppose the negative is that it's a few dollars more than the other options.

I had a seton installed in my left butt cheek after I struggled with an abcess/fitsula. This was great to have post surgery for cleaning the incision, preventing me from wiping and irritating the incision. The bag it came in didn't last very long, but the bottle itself is a good value.

I chose this over a toilet attachment type for a few reasons: - Portability (travel, camping, etc) - Controllability (you choose direction, location, pressure, water temp) - Renter friendly and don't have to worry about flooding your bathroom if it springs a leak. So far, I would definitely recommend! - the bottle is the right soft vs sterdy balance. - it doesn't leak at all. - the water doesn't flow out of the bottle until you squeeze (so no quick-flip, water everywhere situations). - the nozzle is also a great balance of water pressure / amount to comfort. - the cap for the end and carry bag are both very useful. ONLY downside is for travel: its a bit bigger then a full sized pop can roughly. Which is great for suitcase travel, but not really for backpacking (the nozzles you screw onto an empty pop bottle might be better for that). HOWEVER! If it's mostly for at home or throwing in a weekender bag, buy it!! I was very skeptical about bidets in general, but my mind has been changed lol. You will feel cleaner :p and oddly refreshed lol.
