The book arrived on time and as expected. I am very surprised of the quality though. This has revitalised my buying habits as the book is in immaculate condition. Looks brand new even. Small with no torn or discoloured pages.I really love the readability of this book. It is set out in small chapters with great examples. I could either read from cover to cover or dip in and out of it as and when needed. For me, it’s a good reminder of grammar that I should have been taught in school in the 80s, but it also assists in not only the understanding of English grammar but will also assist me in learning other languages from the understanding of grammatical terms etc from English as a basis.I’m so pleased I got this book because it was on my wish list, and I’m even more pleased that I didn’t pay the extortionate price that it presently is when sold as new because I just think it’s disproportionate to the size of the book.Well worth having. I’m very happy, and will definitely look out for this seller again for any of my book needs. Thanks

Just a great book to recommend to everyone, to brush up on our English language.Good read, something we all need to be reminded of...great teaching aid....

This book is a real gem. I paid less than three pounds for a used book (in excellent condition) that is loaded with content. It is better than many of the newer titles that are available, at a fraction of the cost.

Rediscover Grammar is a Good book ... Simple and plain. It offers cool Cartoon to entertain and figure out better the English ... a 'must read' book ... in my modest opinion. I consider that it have other companion books like English Encyclopedia and Dennis Freeborn 'A Course book of English Grammar' ...

This little gem has all the information you need at the tip of your fingers on grammer. It is very well written. The best thing I like about it is that it fits into my hand bag so that I am never without during my teaching sessions. Ideal for students and teachers.

I was recommended this book by a teacher as I was having little breakdowns not knowing how to finish my work - 'should I write it this way or that?'- I was in endless deadlock. I love this book, I've no idea if it will improve my writing (I will find out when editing my dissertation), but I feel happier understanding what writing is, and how it works.

This compact book is a real source of straight forwards to the point information on grammar. Highly portable and a fabulous ready reckoner. Used in conjunction with other grammar reference materials it forms a formidable part of the student's arsenal of reference material for the course.

Endlich mal ein Grammatikbuch, welches mit Sinn für Humor und interessanten und verständlichen Beispielen einige doch recht Komplexe Sachverhalte unterhaltsam zu erklären vermag.Ausnahmsweise muß ich hier einmal meinem Linguistik-Dozenten zustimmen, welcher uns dieses Buch in der Uni empfohlen hat. Natürlich hat es nur einen begrenzten Inhalts-und Erklärungswert, aber zum schnellen Nachschlagen ist es trotzden sehr nützlich.Nur leider etwas teuer...aber so ist das eben mit "Fachliteratur".
